The After School Japan First Tour.

I've never seen or been to a Kpop or Jpop concert before so watching After School live via USTREAM was an amazing experience.

LET'S DO THIS!!!

The concert stream unfavorably started with some difficulty due to sound issues. There was absolutely no sound and I could hear fellow Playboyz and Playgirlz's screams.  This issue was fixed whether a few minutes and the show began.

The Pro's and Con's

The Pro's:

  • The girls were very interactive with each other and the international fans watching the show.

Example:

Kahi and the girls making fun of Lizzy's epic peace sign moment.

The girl giving English shoutouts that included Lizzy saying how touched she was of the international fans watching and Kahi's thank you the fans around the world.

  • E-Young's solo was just amazing, she blew everybody away with her guitar solo.
  • The Orange Carmel set had alot of energy and the fans really seemed to enjoy it.
  • The y shadow video showed off After School's appeal in a mindblowing black and white dance piece.
  • The introducing and Bang performance of the newest member Kaeun.

The Con's:

  • The lipsyncing took away from the show, I wish they didn't have to lipsync.
  • The mic volume was just terrible as you could hardly hear them singing.
  • The performance of Ah only featured four members instead of all the girls.
  • Would have liked to see more individual sets for the other girls like Orange Caramel and E-Young had.

In all the concert was amazing, you couldn't help, but to be excited and cry along with the girls. The concert was short and didn't feature all the girls individually doing solo stages which would have allowed the fans to see more of their talent. I was pleasantly shocked when Kaeun came onstage, but she didn't disappoint as she proved to be a perfect addiction to After School.

And of course how could I forget Kahi's ponytail, all I could think was:
