Getting Featured and Age

Hello friends!

I was just wondering... What does a story have to have in order to get featured?

I mean, are those of the /mature genre not allowd? I write those and I'm not saying my storeis should get featured.

I was just wondering because most of the featured stories are the "teeny boppy" kind. This led me to think that most readers are quite young, so I want to find out how old MY READERS ARE.

Please be honest; I wouldn't even know who voted anyway. LOL

I think it's based on the number of subscribers. Featured stories have thousands of subbies. O_O I belong to D and I immediately thought, "To infinity and beyond!" OTL

Since featured stories are choosen by computer I think it has to do with how many subs and stuff.
