Hi guys. I just felt like writing this blog, well not just for fun, but for other purposes as well. Okay, so basically, I'm just gonna talk about stuffs related to authors here. Firstly, if there are any authors out there reading this blog of mine, I hope you can relate this to yourselves.

What do I do/feel when I see.....

1. The 'NEW SUBSCRIBERS' alert :

- I smile

- I feel happy

- I feel motivated

2. The 'NEW STORY COMMENTS' alert :

- I smile

- I feel happy

- I feel motivated

- I feel myself being loved and supported by others

- I feel appreciated for my hard work

3. Your number of subscribers decreasing OR staying constant :

- I feel down

- My motivation is slowly diminishing

- When this continues on and on, I end up experiencing 'Writer's Block'

4. Less number of readers' comments :

- I feel down

- My motivation is rapidly decreasing

- I feel as if no one appreciates my hard work

- It makes me think that I have no talent or skill to write

I've been thinking about these things lately... I feel as if I'm no longer myself. I've changed.

My original purpose of writing was not to gain subcribers..or to receive comments...

I write stories because I have my own reasons.

Reasons that only my Psychiatrist knows, as well as a friend of mine here, Mich.

So if any one of you are planning to give up, please don't.

Forget about those number of subscribers..

Those number of comments...

Just focus on your writing.

Remember....

QUALITY IS THE ONE THAT MATTERS, NOT THE QUANTITY.
