In the concert,there was  Super Junior’s Manager, when he saw her dancing skill,he was amazed by her. After the concert,he immediately talked to her and asking her if she wants to join SM Entertainment Audition in New York. He said that he will introduced her to the judges. She didn’t tell her parents about the audition ,she went to the audition secretly. She didn’t think that she will pass audition. After she passed the audition, SM Entertainment then offer her a 5 years contract. Her family knew about the audition after SM Entertainment contact them. Her father was against her dream of becoming an idol at first, but her mother,brother,sister encouraged her to returned to Korea to become a trainee.
