Hyun Rin is really shy and quiet towards people who are new to her. Initially, she seems unconfident and anti-social because she'd walk around with her head down, refusing to make eye-contact with others. Together with her tendency to mumble and blurt out random words when she feels she's being too quiet, most people don't really try to get to know her.

But once a person does get to know her better, they'll realise she is actually a jokester and is a cute and naive person that's full of aegyo. She loves to make people laugh and smile. Being a caring and kind person, she is protective towards her loved ones. However, she is a little bit clumsy and sometimes she thinks out loud without knowing.

When it comes to dancing, a completely confident and charismatic side to Hyun Rin appears. She is a powerful dancer who's quick to learn when she's determined and never rests until she has a move perfected. She is nicknamed Happy Feet because she is quick on her feet and her style of dancing brings fun and liveliness to any stage.

Hyun Rin was born in Seoul, South Korea. She grew up with caring and loving parents who liked doing things as a family. She is the oldest among her siblings with two younger brothers. Hyun Rin and her family are really outgoing and adventurous. One could almost always find them hiking, rock climbing or off-road cycling on weekends or going for evening jogs on weekdays. 

Hyun Rin's parents always made sure she obtained top-notch results in her studies and was home by curfew whenever she went out for dance practices or jam sessions with her buddies. Hyun Rin loved singing. She would put on her current favourite song on loop and sing and dance along with it. Sometimes she would strum random chords on her guitar and come up with a song. Mostly they were short and silly songs. 

Hyun Rin's love for dancing started at the early age of 4. Her mother enrolled her in ballet lessons and she was top in her class and age group. She developed a passion for hip-hop and breakdancing after watching her friends do dance covers of new kpop songs. She later on dropped ballet completely to focus on hip-hop and breakdancing because being the free-spirited person she was (and still is), she found it easier to express herself through those genres.
