"it's just a game"
"Look down deep, into the soul I know you have, and tell me if what you feel for me is real, or if it's just a game. If it's real, we'll figure it out... But if it's not, then please, just let me go." Her eyes were now moist with tears as she held onto his arm; looking pleadingly into his dark brown orbs. Half of her was afraid of his answer, but half of her wanted to be strong enough to stand up for herself.
"It's just a game. I hate to lose. You're free to go."
It hit her heart like a thousand daggers. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she contained the whimper that was threatening to escape from . She looked at the man in front of her; he answered with no trace of hesitancy.
"Thank you." She said, almost a whisper as she excused herself and walked away, leaving the man behind. She cupped as she exited the cafe.
"Yong Guk, why did you just do that?" A friend of his approached him from behind, placing her palm on his shoulder, confused to what she just witnessed.
"Because I love her and I can't make her happy."
