I am Keeper and Keeper is type one
Chapter 3 of Dolce Vita mentions about the three types of people in the internet.
The first type presents themselves as their second personality, which is usually suppressed in real life.
The second type refers to those who transform themselves into the kind of man/woman he/she wants to become.
Lastly, type three transforms themselves into personas that is impossible for them to become in real life e.g. a girl pretending to be a boy.
Keeper belongs to the first type. But my second personality is my true and inner self. The way I write blogs, comments and wallposts is the way my inner voice speaks. Me writing stories and doing graphics might put me under the third category, lols, but I hope not.
I am both a curious and playful child and a strict, conservative but gentle unnie - parts of me that never manifest in the real world. Offline I become what others need and expect me to be; wearing different masks for different people on different occasions so that everyone is happy. I mastered the art of switching that I scare myself sometimes. But then again, I don't want others prying into my life. I'd have enough of people wanting me to become someone I am not. I often tell myself to "Just keep smiling and they won't ask you anything."
People do look at appearances and achievements. Sadly. That's all you amount to especially in the academe and work place.
And so sometimes, when people here whom I just met ask me my gender, age and nationality, I can't help but think, would it really matter? Keeper is Keeper. Regardless of my bio data, I hope that others would accept me just being me.
Talk to me, read my blogs, etc. and you'll find out how cool and amazing I am just like my name /shot
