SHINee releases SHERLOCK Mini album -sample article

No more waiting for you SHAWOLS, because your favorite idols are back!

After relasing quite y yet innocent teasers of each members, SHINee has finally released their latest mini album, “SHERLOCK” and it’s amazing!

Already topping charts, this album ranges from awesome dance tracks like ‘Sherlock’, which is a mix of ‘Clue’ and ‘Note’, to beautiful ballads like ‘The Reason’. It’s an album worth spending your money on!

Although there is equal critisim about ‘Sherlock’ being a mix of ‘Clue’ and ‘Note’. Many have showed opposing views saying that instead of just mixing two songs, they could’ve worked on another track, or just made one of the two song’s their tittle track. But then again, what’s the fun in that?

Come on guys! This is SHINee! And they never fail to surprise us. My personal favorite was the ballad track ‘The Reason’. It touched my heart pretty well. And then the acoustic track ‘Honesty’ was nothing less. Even though it is a mini album, when you listen to it, you get the feeling, ‘Yes this is SHINee.’

Anyway, the MV was another SHINee miracle work, with all the mysterious thriller sepia look and copperish shades everywhere. With the guys dressed in both retro and british clothing, the SHINee boys have indeed workd their miracle again. SNSD’s Jessica makes a cameo as the ghost who leads SHINee to success by the end of the MV.

But question stands….was this the type of comeback we hoped for, after a long one and a half year?
