Minho’s cute is no more forced than anyone else in the group. Does he force it at times? Yes. Who doesn’t? But when he’s put on the spot to be ‘cute’ he’s obviously embarrassed and awkward about it. 

 

If you just watch him, you’d see his cute just like any of the other members. When he’s being himself is when he shows his cuteness. It’s just as real as anyone else in the group.

 

What he is forcing a lot of the time is not ‘cuteness’, it’s the ‘manly’ image that has been give to him and reinforced by fandom. Half the time it’s painful to watching Minho trying to be what fandom would call ‘manly’. He comes off trying to be something while other members can do it without trying.

Minho’s 'manliness' = over half the time faked / trying too hard.

 

 

Sadly, many are brainwashed to this. I guess SM is doing a pretty good job. For the blind at least.

 

Minho is not being 'cute' to hide his 'masculinity' to fit in with SHINee.
