Dangerous milk

I went downstairs to toast some butterscotch toast and decided to get a glass of milk. I took out a carton of milk and twist it open. I reached for a slender glass behind a few other regular looking glasses. I don't know, the glass looks pretty when I pour milk in it. So when I was reaching for that y looking glass, a glass placed on the row in front of it sorta toppled and fell- crash- broke- shatter on the marble top. EPIC FAIL. I watched it shatter and I could've sworn I saw a small tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny piece jumped into the carton @_@ I stared at the milk, more worried about the tiny thing swimming in there and sneaking into my glass and into my body scratching and tearing my insides causing me to bleed internally and die. I pushed my paranoia aside and cleaned up the mess. So after it was cleaned I stared at the carton again. Freaking logo of many dolphins mocking me. I took the slender glass more carefully and poured milk into it. I stared at the white liquid and counted the bubbles in it. Slowly I reached for the carton, staring at it again @_@ I smelled the poured milk thinking it just maybe, possibly, be *coughs* spoiled. It wasn't. It looked tempting. I wanted to drink it but then it hit me again. That tiny tiny tiny glass might be in there. Without a moment hesitation and poured everything into the sink. Including what's left of the carton. I washed the carton for recycling and the glass. I wondered what my father might have said if he were to know I threw a quarter of the fifth last carton of milk out. I still felt thirsty and my butterscotch toasts were ready. I opened my fridge and looked at the many cartons of milk. I closed the fridge and opened another one. There stood a lonely looking carton of soya milk beside a bottle of root beer. I looked around the fridge and took the soya and brought it to my marble top. Again I reached for a glass. But I just took the nearest one and poured a glass of soya in it. I didn't even look at the slender glass. I disposed the evidence of the crime scene that is the shattered glasses and took my toasts and went upstairs.

I'll never drink fresh milk the same way ever again. *sips soya milk*
