Her family moved back to China when she was 10 years old. She studied Traditional Dance at Beijing Dance Academy and won 3 gold medals at the international dance competition 2009. She's known as the Queen of Dance in mainland China. She auditioned for SM but was rejected. She then auditioned for Starship and was accepted after the CEO spotted her dancing.
