Growing up, she worked hard in her studies to not burden her mother or older sister. she excelled in her academics with her determination. she explored different hobbies and realized her love for arts and the creative side, such as drawing, painting, and design.
Eunbi's older sister faced her own struggles with her marriage. Dahyun married at 21 and had yuna at 23. Dahyun's marriage life was blissful in the beginning, but time went by things were rocky. her husband paid Lessard less attention to her and their child. She him cheating a few but endured because yuna was too young to not have a father figure. When yuna was 8, dahyun filed for a divorce and got custody of yuna. eunbi witnessed dahyun navigate the divorce and the responsibility of raising a child.
Eunbi's journey through life taught her that she didn't need a man to define her worth or happiness. Her determination to provide for her family and her strong sense of self-reliance led her to prioritize her own personal growth and independence. As she matured, Eunbi realized that she was more interested in casual relationships and hookups, choosing to focus on her own goals and desires rather than seeking a committed partnership. she was able to satisfy her ual needs with no extra complications of feelings. she thought all men were the same. it just all ends up in pain and struggle.
eunbi remembers the day she became friends with the girls in 2016, 7 years ago. she had just started working. it was the end of the day, she just wanted to relieve some stress by hooking up with some guy at the club. she was enjoying her time on the dance floor which led to her flirting with an attractive guy. they were about to get a cab to a hotel. but, a girl barged in screaming and slapped him and eunbi across the face. it turned out he had a girlfriend. eunbi was shocked, sure she slept around but, she wasn't a homewrecker. well at least never intentionally. if she knew guys had a girlfriend she would never try to hook up. she defended herself and snuck out there during the couple's argument. eunbi's mood was completely ruined. so, she didn't want to go home yet. eunbi stopped by the tent for some drinks. that's where she met all the girls, they were all there alone and feeling down. the girls, who were strangers bonded and ranted over their day.
eunbi got into korea national university of arts majoring in fine arts. she completed her bachelors in and master's degrees. thorugh her time in her university, she explored different types of art and career direction. she enjoyed the the creatives in the production industry the most. when she graduated, eunbi started an entry level job at a small production company. she worked as a set designer for variety shows at one point. She freelanced for a bit after leaving that company. for three years now, eunbi is the art director at a video and film production company. it has only been about five years since it was founded. they mostly get requests to produce and direct k-pop music videos.
recently, she was working on production for a film. it was the first big film she had a hand in. it was a meticulous and lengthy process, involving planning the art direction how it would look, the locations they should shoot in, fixing the dates, props, special effects, etc. they were filming it abroad, so she planned it with the team for 4 months, 3 months in advance. after, the plans were confirmed, eunbi had to focus on the other small projects that the company wanted them to complete since they will have to dedicate two months abroad for the movie. eunbi hardly had a break from these projects before the movie filming. the period that the filming commenced was about 2 months abroad in europe. her part of the worked ended with the remaining editing tasks handed over to the post-production team. eunbi spent 9 months in total with a back to back schedule. she was finally done and ready to go clubbing and start her casual hookups again. currently, she has no plans of large projects any time soon.

hyungsik grew up in yongin in a family of five. he is the middle child of three silbings; he has an older brother and an younger sister. both of his parents worked in the financial industry. Growing up in a household that valued education and hard work, he was exposed to the principles of diligence and ambition from an early age. his older brother works as a surgeon, and a younger sister pursued a career as a paralegal.
As the middle child, Hyungsik's journey was a blend of love and struggle, with the dynamics of both older and younger siblings shaping his character. there was a time that he went through a struggle finding his own idenity and what he wanted to do compared to his silbings. Despite the challenges, he had always worked to overcome it. hyungisk majored in applied statistics at chung-ang university. he currently works as a data analyst at a software company. he works monday to friday, 9am-5pm. his jobs consists of him at his desk collecting, structuring, and interpreting his data. he would then prepare the reports to present to his co-workers and managers at the meeting.
in regards to his love life, he hasn't dated in a little more than two years. his Friends had been urging him to get out and find love, especially after a long and unfulfilling one-sided relationship that had ended a year ago. He had finally come to terms with the past and was ready to open his heart to new possibilities. hyungsik is one to fall in love at first sight. he is the type of person who needs interact the perosn at least a few times and get to know them. however, he was only focused on his career for the past year. he was set up on blind dates but, never meet up after the first meeting.
it had been less than a week since eunbi came back from abroad. since she came she hadn't done much aside from meeting the girls, visiting her family, unpacking, and going to work like normal. she was hoping to get laid in long time on a friday after work. however, Eunbi had been invited to a networking event for people in film and video production industry in the city one Friday evening. Her passion for her career and love for meeting new people drove her to attend. she was also down for the free drinks. as the event dwindled down, eunbi and a few of her colleagues found themselves at a atmospheric bar.
Hyungsik, on the other hand, was a diligent data analyst who had been solely focused on his career for years. Feeling a bit of pressure from his friends who were convinced that he needed to start dating again, he reluctantly agreed to join them at the same bar. The bar was located just a few streets away from his workplace.
Eunbi's co-workers wandered off and she was left alone drinking, amidst the vibrant crowd, noticed Hyungsik sitting by the bar, nursing a drink and appearing somewhat out of his element. he looked like a gentlemen which was not her ideal hookup target. though she had to admit he has a very attractive face. glances were exchanged from across the room. one thing led to another, they ended up having a one night stand at his apartment.
eunbi woke up the next morning to hyungsik making breakfast. aside from jaewoo, eunbi doesn't really prolong her stay after sleeping with them just instead they become clingy or have misunderstanding about her intentions. hyungsik saw her reluctance, he assured that he wasn't trying to woo her or naything. he just made himself breakfast and extra to be polite. so, she sat down for breakfast. he hands her a hangover drink since she consumed alcohol. eunbi stared blankly at the bottle, "these kinds of actions don't suit a one night stand." Hyungsik grinned, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he leaned against the kitchen counter. "Well, maybe I'm just a gentleman even during casual encounters," he replied, his tone teasing. Eunbi raised an eyebrow, feigning skepticism. "Or maybe you're trying to impress me," she retorted playfully. she found him to be amusing. before leaving she slid him her business card for him contact her.
and he did. they met up several times, they would end up at her apartment or at his. one night, when they were in bed hyunsik asked if she wanted to be lovers for the winter. eunbi was surprised by the unexpected question. hyungsik explains that it would be nice to have a companion since it gets feels lonelier during the winter. it would mutual benefit for the both of them. for eunbi, it might be out of impulsiveness. it might out of eunbi not hooking up with any for 9 months. maybe having a lover for a few months won't be so bad. so, she agreed.

before eunbi and hyungsik became "lovers", they didn't really have special romantic interest towards each other. although hyungsik would be quite caring towards her even during that time. but, they didn't do any couple things, they would mainly be sleep together. there were times she wouldn't stay the night. eunbi had ual desire since, its been awhile since she had gotten laid. she found it convenient to not have to look for new hookups at the club. she would have bad luck of finding people who were too clingy, arrogant, or they had a girlfriend. as for hyungsik, he wanted an companion. he would be lonely, after work. at family gathering, he would often be asked about if he was dating since he was now getting older. he was getting tired of that question.
after they became "lovers" for the winter. they did what they did before but, since they decided to be lovers, they decided to try couple things. hyungsik treated her like he did with any of his previous girlfriends. even if it was only for the winter, he thought she should be treated well. he would plan out dinner dates, going to places like museums, picnics, watch movies, etc. eunbi felt a little awkward being treated sweetly doing couple activities in public. but, she did go along with everything since it was supposed to be mutual benefits. she gets what she wants, she should get his as well. when it comes to eunbi turn to plan dates. well, she didn't really plan anything. eunbi just decides to go somewhere nearby, just simple things, they would watch movies on her tv at home. she'll cook dinner for them. hyungsik never minded anything they did. later once they got closer, sunbi did open up about herself and her life history. she became comfortable and saw him as a friend, someone she could open to. she would bring him to her the art studio she frequents to paint. she never shows it to anyone aside from her family and the girls.
hyungsik would find himself falling for her first and realizing it first. he knew he shouldn't since they had a deal. the more time he spent with her, the personal talks they had, the dates they went on; his feelings for her grew. it made him distance himself from her. he tried to refrain himself from being extra romantic. it would have to end after the winter anyway was what he told himself. eunbi could feel him distance himself from her. it was a little strange since she kind gotten used to the way he treated her. but maybe it was for the best. until it wasn't. there was one time she went to visit him at his company after work. there was a female co-worker clearly flirting with him. she got upset seeing that sight and storming away. he chased after her, asking why she was upset. eunbi thinks it's stupid to even feel jealous when she shouldn't be having these kind feelings.
