I don't know if I'm included on the writer friends but it depends on what I mainly want to do? If it's a first date to impress, open road, car w/ sunroof and any playlist they want would be the ideal for me (less ideal with this economy). If it's to get to know or just chill, cafe dates never fail. If it's a lot more personal, art gallery or errand date. Rarely do I invite them home or do I accept home invites for first dates... I've learned that the hard way...
