characteristics wears his vision as a necklace; has a sort of wealthy commoner aesthetic (fancy tunic and trousers) because of his servant status yet working for diluc.
eden doesn't often talk whether about himself or outside things. he wasn't always like this, but he's learned to be content in the background and lie low and be more reserved.
he's helpful and kind throughout his journeys; he makes conversations and acquaintances with his easy-going attitude but is not a pushover.
eden lacks emotions that are within a human. he doesn't understand quite how they work, but he guesses they're much like feeling the earth's feelings, however it makes him seem insensitive to humans' own.
he has flaws and is growing as an individual, following in a human's footsteps. he knows he's not a human and will never be, but he'd like to think everything feels something.

i think i had the idea of a kaeluc/siregulus arc? eden had a sibling (nodd) who he was close to but because of their differences they distanced themselves and in the end nodd died but they still held each other close.
eden was grown in mondstadt, born from a cecilia seed. he had no parents, only an elder brother, nodd, who he followed throughout his life. as children, nodd and eden stuck together and relied on each other as they had no one else to call family.
eden was a bright child and gained the favors of the citizens while nodd was a much more reserved individual, however was still kind. as they grew they became distant; nodd willingly fell into the abyss order's hands in hopes of finding a better life for eden and himself while not actively involving eden; eden grew believing the archons' and celestia's ways of life, thus their parting.
people didn't treat them as humans no matter their appearance, rather a something, and eden believed one day they would be viewed as the same as humans, but nodd knew better.
when their sides clashed, eden faced his brother as an ally of the gods, and it was the gods who had killed his brother. after that day, eden vowed to never believe the gods again, to never blindly worship those who can take with no wrong.
to fulfill his brother's wishes, eden was granted a vision days after nodd's death, to search for an answer; to search for the gods and destroy them all.

something to share i took diluc's family name because i have none; he is my eldest brother and i will not forget the kindness the ragnvindr clan has shown me.
favorite food i love freshly baked goods; anything that has just been made fresh from the fire. just thinking about it makes me hungry!
least favorite food i don't care much for sweets. maybe it's the smell? too much sugar and not enough...freshness.
about nodd i hold my brother close to my heart. he and i were not always on good terms but when we clashed we did not fight nearly as much as thought. we will always be brothers and i will always love him despite our differences.
about cain cain? he reminds me of diluc; standoffish and distant yet he bears a weight one must carry for all eternity. maybe that is why they are the way they are. i know he is a good man; he has shown it far too many times.

playstyle i think he'd be a little bit like thoma in where he has that acrobatic aesthetic with a basic dash. he dislikes fighting (if he can help it) so he's more of a backliner but is always on call if need be.

diluc
tl;dr works under him and sort of grew up with him during eden's childhood but he wouldn't say they're close (or at least on diluc's side).
eden doesn't spend a lot of time with diluc despite living with him, but he respects him all the same. his family took eden in after his brother's death, and he will never forget the kindness he and adelinde had shown him.
kaeya
tl;dr eden would say he's more closer to kaeya because kaeya had always been talkative. as a child he sought after companionship and praise and kaeya had given that to him.
kaeya is a good friend and brother, eden thinks. he shows great care for those around him and eden can be free with him. years of growing up with him and diluc, eden views kaeya as a brother, however a brother that will never replace his own.
adelinde
tl;dr adelinde is practically their (diluc, kaeya, and him) mother-figure and eden has treated her like so despite him being a stand-in butler.
adelinde may be strict and odd, but eden knows how kind she truly is. he views her as his mother figure as he never had one, telling her of trivial things and daily adventures. she taught and guided him through his life as a young child into adulthood.
traveler
tl;dr he and traveler aren't close but he understands their goal; after all he too had a similar objective.
the traveler reminds him of himself, searching for their sibling except eden is searching for answers; he thinks they're essentially the same.
