Hello, everyone! @kaeljaeyoung here.

First, let me say. It's been a while.

It has been a really, long while. Life happened.

To be honest, I was browsing through my emails when some random bot gave a like on my livejournal fanfic post. As you all know, I have written a few KrisHo fanfics, because they were, are still, and will always be my OTP (despite the craziness that we all know has happened over in the mainland). I am an (unofficial) EXO-L (since there really isn't an official SM fan organization in my country that I know of, but I do identify as such), and I love the characters that I write. I tend to keep things separate and compartmentalized, because I am a fan and I also like to write. Speaking of writing though, life happened, like I said.

I started my fanfics at the time when I was still in medical school, because I needed to do something to keep my mind off of the thousands of pages of books that I had to read. Writing was my outlet, and I really appreciate all those who commented, gave an upvote, or just read my stories silently. But, life happened.

I became a licensed doctor (Hooray for me!), and life, well, became focused on my career. Training and hospital duties became too exhausting for me to write, and I just wanted to spend my free time catching up on sleep. I deeply apologize if I suddenly disappeared on the face of the "fanfic earth" but it was really hard for me to juggle everything at once. Now, I am at the time of my life that I want to also catch a bit of a break, and I goes that random bot was a sign for me to think that I could pick up writing once again. Just to bring the fun times back. To immerse myself once more in an imaginary world that I built, and to invite you guys also to see this world with me.

Oh! I hope that maybe one of these days, you'll look forward to a little ping on AFF or LJ or wherever you read fanfics and realize...
