hi friends! wow it's been a loooong while since i've written anything! in terms of blogging and fanfiction. i really want to start writing again, but i really have no idea where to start. i'm the type who can't commit to writing long, chaptered stories unless i have an entire plot/storyline planned out...which i think is why it's difficult for me to start and why i've stuck to short stories/one shots for my published stories. lol, so we'll see how it goes.

life for me has been a little stagnant tbh. i've graduated college but still have no idea what i wanna do in life. so i'm just working part time until i can find a full time job with benefits that i hopefully enjoy. lol. i hope everyone has been well and safe admist covid. sending love, warm hugs, and well wishes to all of you, esp during this time of year <3 how have all of you been?

umm anyways, since i can't promise anything about stories or whether i'll remain active on aff, i just wanted to share some of my fave kpop songs for the past 2 years or so, if you wanna share some of your fave songs too, pls go ahead! :)

 

in no particular order:

twice - scientist (i heard some people thought it wasn't title track worthy, but i personally really enjoyed it! also, really loved their eng release 'the feels'! anyone going to their concert next year?? i couldnt get tickets unfortunately)

onewe - regulus (i discovered them last year when they released 'end of spring', then went to this song and cried at first listen. i'm in love with their entire discography)

bts - telepathy (tbh if covid didn't happen, this album wouldn't have existed and who knows when/if we would've gotten this song. i'm so thankful for BE album and this is my fave off the album. i mean when i read the first 4 lines of the song --essentially the chorus, i was so touched and felt that if you could explain what love is w/o using the word love, it would be those 4 lines. when they performed this at PTD in LA, i couldn't concentrate since I was getting to see them up close in the carts lol)

bts - blue & grey (similarily, if covid didnt happen, would this song have even existed? i related a lot to the lyrics and cried upon reading them)

txt - 0x1=lovesong (prob my fave release of the yr and a close second behind runaway for my fave txt title track)

cl - lover like me (super happy with her latest album release w/ this track being my fave)

seventeen - rock with you (i wasn't really feeling seventeen's title tracks for awhile, but really enjoyed this one)

noa - highway (not in korean, but in japanese..just recently learned he was in treasure maker..i didn't watch it.. and was very surprised! definitely enjoying his music!)

lucy - i got you (been absolutely obsessed w/ this song since i came upon it by chance this yr!)

key ft taeyeon - hate that (collab of the yr)

agust d - people (on repeat since he dropped d-2 last yr)

bts - your eyes tell (beautiful song, beautiful lyrics)

loona - not friends (addictive, really enjoyed the sound, wish it were a full loona song/title track and not pt of a project, but heejin,kim lip, yves, and jinsoul slayed)

stayc - asap (was super impressed w/ their debut and am really enjoying all their albums/songs so far)

purple kiss - zombie (randomly came across the teaser "predebut" video of swan and loved her voice. it's so charming! pre-releases were solid, debut song was solid, zombie was solid! very addictive and catchy. very talented girls too!)

iu - celebrity (felt super comforted by this song. love iu)

baekhyun - bambi (deserves best male solo b/c he never dissapoints)

d.o. - si fueras mia (not in korean, but in spanish. loved his solo album too and def did not dissapoint. loved this song v much too)

eAeon ft rm - don't (something so captivating about this song. it's an odd feeling, but it makes me feel as though i'm floating whenever i listen to it. eaeon and rm's voice compliment eachother very well)

aespa - lucid dream (so so so so so good!!)

chungha - dream of you (still bopping to it since its release last yr)

everglow - la di da (fave title track from them, still obsessing over it and i dont think i'll get tired of listening to it)

nct 127 - gimme gimme (japanese release, but it still goes hard af)

girls planet 999 / 7 minutes love team - u+me=love (i think they deserved the win for the mission, but its ok. best song release from the show imo. i'm very curious as to what kepler's group concept will be)

cignature - boyfriend (clicked on it just to check it out and was pleasantly surprised! very nice song)
