On March 24th, my mom went in and got a cataract removed in her right eye. She was told that she was legally blind because she couldn't see anything. Her left eye had a cataract removed 8 years ago and she can see clearly. Right now, I've been helping her with eye drops. It's been 5 days now that I have to put in 6 eye drops every day. Not all at the same time though. Mom has never had anything in her eye before, so eye drops are hard for her. I try to tell her to keep her eye open so that I can put the eye drops in. I can't wait til she's done with them. I don't remember doing this with her other eye.

I was even thinking of having the same thing done for me too. I hate wearing glasses and wearing contacts to correct the vision isn't the best. I have an astigmatism, so I can't wear colored contacts, like I always liked too in the past. Many of my other eye doctors, told me that I couldn't get my eyes worked on unless I have cataracts. The surgeon told me that I can do it. Most of his patients have problems with astigmatisms. 

The unfortunate thing is that I have no one to take me to and from the eye surgeon. So, I might have to call an Uber to take me, but I have to find time and money to do this.

Anyway, that's why I haven't been online lately. Plus, I need to get inspired to write again. I'm trying to find ideas to get my brain working again.
