She have no trouble leaving the Fantagio and entered MNH entertainment as their new trainee (though she can't admit to herself that she's running away from her relationship with Eunwoo and wants to avoid confrontation of feelings). Nam Gaeul represented MNH in the first season of Produce 101 and snagged the 4th ranking in the finals, which resulted to her debuting in IOI. After the 7 long months of group activities, Gaeul finally debuted as a successful soloist and that continued as years goes by.
Now that she heard about a new season of R&I and the rumors of Cha Eunwoo being a one of the male cast, Nam Gaeul won't let this opportunity go away as she used up all of her connections just to join the show.

HOW TO BREAK A LOYAL MAN a guide by Nam Gaeul

1. Flirt with your good friend and get.. confessed to.
They are both fantagio's best visuals, they both look good, perfect. Gaeul was sure that despite all the friendly flirting she always throw to Eunwoo, that awkward boy would not give in. They should be just good friends in the first place, however it all changed when Eunwoo confessed to her. Conflicted, Gaeul reluctantly accepted the confession despite just only having friendly feelings for him.
2. Be non-committal
Everything stayed the same, with the exception of Eunwoo who was more loving and affectionate, trying his best to become a good boyfriend. While Gaeul.. is gaeul, she loves all the spoiling she received from him but deep inside, she have trouble committing her feelings to the poor guy. Instead of confronting him, she distanced herself by going to another company and got busy with produce 101. While Eunwoo got busy with his debut and group activities.
3. Led him on and distance always work 100%
She just led him on, led him on and on, to the point that she often didn't reply to his texts or answer his calls. Eunwoo knew there's something up with how Gaeul seems to be avoiding him. Eunwoo tried his best again to reconnect with her, even going to sneak out just to meet with her.

Once Gaeul started her IOI activities, that's when Eunwoo encountered the moment he was dreading for.. Gaeul did not talk to him anymore and the worst thing? He doesn't know why, Eunwoo was desperate for a closure that he stormed his way to Gaeul's dorm (angry eunwoo is the scariest), much to their manager's displeasure.

For Gaeul, she would be absolutely happy to meet Eunwoo, she has unsolved regrets and she really wanted to make up for it. Of course, she would not tell anyone what was their past and will probably just say "We used to train before, along with Seongwoo!"
