kim yeseul is an optimistic person, in whatever situation she always thinks on the bright side. she is someone who influence others with bright energy. she can be seen with a bright smile and encouragements to uplift someone else's mood. this makes her very well liked for good-natured personality and someone others feel at ease with. to a lot of people yeseul, is quite the transparent person, she doesn't hide who she is. all her feelings, all the good and bad she is always open and honest about it. she also embraces her flaws as they are apart of herself. a downside is that yeseul can be blunt. most of the time, she says how she feels like it is and doesn't really think about it first. it is never her intention to hurt or offend others, if she did then she'll apologize. but, in certian situations, she does feel that the truth is necessary rather than sugar-coating.

background:
kim yeseul trained for 4 years at jyp entertainment along with many of the current twice members. but, the company thought her image didn't fit what they had in mind for the new girl group. yeseul ended up leaving before the survival program sixteen started. some of the jyp casters thought she was talented so, they intoduced her to starship entertainment and spent 2 more years training. she finally debuts with wjsn in 2016. they had fairly good debut but, their popularity isn't as great as they hoped it would be. but, yeseul and the rest of members a re thankful for all the opportunity they get to promote she always trys to show improve her skills whether it's singing, dancing, rapping or acting. she considers herself lucky to be able to act in dramas such as "hit the top", "girls' generation 1979 and "your house helper". her popularity has risen since debut because of her dramas.

history::
kim yeseul and lee jaeyoon are friends who once had interest in each other.
yeseul was close friends with a few trainees who left the company. She kept in contact with them throughout her trainee days. Their friend group grew as they befriend trainees at other companies. One of them is Lee jaeyoon whom she meets in 2016. It didn't take long for the two to become close friends. the two really hit it off as they were both two bright individual. but, their friends could tell the two seem to be a little more than friends. even when they hang out with the group, yeseul and jaeyoon always end up next to each other. it was especially clear that yeseul liked him because openly flirted with him in a straight-forward way. they went out to the movies and for dinner just the two of them a couple of times.
sometime in november of 2017, his fellow sf9 member rowoon asked jaeyoon whether he was more than friends with yeseul. Jaeyoon had many thoughts going through his head although he did have feelings for her, he calmly denied it. in jaeyoon's point of view, he couldn't tell rowoon the truth. rowoon is his group member and jaeyoon felt he should put their career first. afterall, it had only been about a year since they debuted. Rowoon then expressed his interest in yeseul and asked for jaeyoon's help to meet her.The words that jaeyoon hoped wouldn't come out of rowoon's mouth but, it did. So, jaeyoon reluctanly agree to let rowoon to go in place of him the day jaeyoon had plans with yeseul. yeseul was completely confused to see rowoon when she was expecting jaeyoon. After the movie, they parted ways. during their "date" rowoon confessed and yeseul politely rejcted him as she wasn't interested but, they decided to be friends. the enrire time from when yeseul met rowoon, yeseul thoughts were about jaeyoon. she was frustrated and couldn't tell what he thinking at all. all this time she thought they had mutual interest. but, they fact that he agreed to let rowoon meet her made her feel betrayed. yeseul had a packed schedule the rest of the week and she wanted sort her feelings before talking to him so, she ignored his text and calls.
four days later, dating news between wjsn's yeseul and sf9's rowoon broke out. it just happen to be the photos were taken from that day, the only time she ever met rowoon. it was reported by a smaller news company and not dispatch. dispatch knew there was something going on between jaeyoon and yeseul but, didn't dig any deeper or released their news because at the time they were not that big of a scoop. yeseul felt sorry towards her group for having a dating scandal. both starship and fnc denied it and it soon died down. but, she did receive some backlash for going out on a date so early in her career.
yeseul decides to call jaeyoon becuase she needed to know how he realy feels. they are both still rookies and she understands that he worries about both their careers. she didn't mind being the forward one or expect to date right away but, she wants to assured that he feelings for her. jaeyoon had always been a gentlemen and nice to everyone meets maybe, she just mistaking their playful friendship for something more when it wasn't. as soon as jaeyoon picked up, he apologized profusely for the dating news happening because he had agreed to let rowoon met her. he regrets it and feels that the scandal happen because of him. yeseul asked him if his regret for letting rowoon go on a date with her was only that the dating news resulted. was there another reason for his regret? jaeyoon knew what she was asking. he wanted to her that he regretted not being the one to confess that day. instead he didn't and answered "i'm not sure yeseul but, my biggest regret is causing this mess to happen". yeseul asks him one last question. "Are we really just friends?" there was a moment of silence and heistance on his end. He really wanted to say no but, he couldn't he had already caused her to be in a scandal. he didn't want a news to come out that yeseul is involved with not another boygroup member but a member from the same group. he didn't want to complcate her image then he already has. Jaeyoon answers with a playful comment, "did you drink? Of course we're friends" Yeseul was completely disappointed and heartbroken by the words but, at least she knows and can now move on.
the two remained friends. they didn't want things to be awkward with the rest of their friend circle just because of them. the treated each other friendly but, there was just slight awkwardness since they nevbr talked about their situation since that phone call. they hang out together when they're in the group and haven't met just the two of them anymore. yeseul and jaeyoon both came to date other people since than, which now a year and a half ago. currently, they're both single.

lee jaeyoon is known as a gentlemen among the people around him. he is very thoughtful, always thinking about other people. he notices the little details about them whether they're uncomfortable or they need something he will get it for them. he is someone who thinks a lot about other people's needs. often times, jaeyoon thinks about others too much even more than his own. he is self scrificing, although he views it as just being easygoing. his friends think he should put himself first more often and go after what he wants. jaeyoon is perceptive of his surroundings and the behavior or emitions of the people around him. it is very quick to understand what's going even if there is no words exchanged. he is very understanding and goes with the flow, he won't meddle in if he doesn't think it's his place to. but, he is a good listener if they ever need someone to talk to. being an empathetic person, he listens to other with no judgement because everyone is different. he has a lot of empathy for other's situations.
he is a humorous guy, always trying to brighten the mood with playful comments or jokes. he is seen as someone who can keep the conversation going and friendly to talk to. he doesn't like uncomfortable situations but also very passive. he usually wouldn't contront others and avoids conflict. instead, he'll defelct with something humorous to direct their attention away. jaeyoon has the tendency to overthink things. he can't help but, think about the future and the consequence of his decisions. which makes him a very cautious person. he thinks things through dozens of times in his head before deciding. he also thinks carefully about what he says. he isn't a very clear person, he'll go around the topic taking his time to get the point. jaeyoon often times is not a big risk taker. which have led him to have regrets in his life.

although, it is a surprise to see yeseul. jaeyoon is a gentlemen and playful with her just as with anyone else. being on the show, he is very open to meeting with anyone. but, while seeing her on the show and the other contestants having something going on reminded him of his relationship with yeseul. it made him develop possible feelings for her all over again. off air, they'll finally talk about their situation back then and the truth that he did like her. he doesn't want to regret this time.
