So, I'm trying to write this taekook fic where taekook meet in their dreams and fall in love there. The premis is that Jungkook has insomnia which he thinks is due to the stress of his entrance exams into the college his friend Jimin is currently going to (on a dance scholarship), and he ends up falling asleep at random places, but whenever he dreams of Taehyung, he always gets a full nights rest (but it's not very often). Both of them struggle with whether or not the other is real. Jungkook's mother decides to take him to a doctor and he gets prescribed sleeping pills, but they just knock him right out, and he doesn't get much sleep at all with them either, nor does he dream at all. During one dream Taehyung tells Jungkook to flush the pills, since whenever he dreams of Taehyung he doesn't feel fatigued or exhausted and then he takes Jungkook to his home (which he shares with his father), and along the way, Jungkook notices little things like a newspaper with the location as to where Taehyung is. So he decides to go to that town and see if Taehyung was real or not, only to discover that Taehyung was not even home because his father, who is a hardass, wants him to take over the family business, even if that's not what Taehyung wants. Jungkook falls asleep outside his apartment and when Taehyung falls asleep in the car taking him home Jungkook is there crying and asking if he was real or not and that he was there at his apartment, but Taehyung wasn't. They meet up for real later, happily united finally, and they decide to make their relationship official. Obviously, Jungkook can't stay there as he still has entrance exams coming up, and he returns, but Taehyung doesn't want to spend a day without Jungkook and surprises him with a visit of his own, but when Jungkook wants to introduce him to his mother, she is almost immediately against their relationship. Turns out she use to date Taehyung's father and has such a heavy grudge against him that she forbids Jungkook from seeing Taehyung. But their so in love that they can't stay away from each other, so they decide to run away.

There is a rule that if you talk about anything like time while in a dream, it'll wake up your subconscious and take you out of lucid dreaming, so that's why Jungkook becomes suspicious of Taehyung since, as he is a veteran lucid dreamer, he always seems to avoid certain subjects.

Also, wherever you are in the dream when you wake up is where you will be when you return to the dream. If that makes any sense. So if Jungkook was at Taehyung's apartment in the dream before he woke up, when he goes back to sleep and returns to the dream world he will still be at Taehyung's apartment.
