Yiseul’s surface is a polished natural charisma that draws others in to him. He has that charm and way with words that can flatter or inspire devotion. There’s just something about him that seems to attract others. Yiseul wouldn’t call himself a smooth talker, but at times, he seems to know just what to say to cause someone to blush or their hearts to flutter. Yiseul just enjoys making people smile and laugh, whether that means flirting or complimenting. The boy is going to crack you open somehow.

He’s always been an easy communicator, not necessarily eloquent but charming in that boy next door, flattering goof kind of way. He can control a situation like no other, flawlessly take over and work things into an outcome he wants. This charismatic, charming, friendly disposition is partially a front that hides Yiseul’s insecurities, the crazy anxieties going on inside his head, and the want to make others feel secure in themselves, never to notice his own turmoil. Yiseul is always hyper-aware of his surroundings, of others around him, of the thoughts in his head because he is secretly OCD.

Being born with this disorder of obsessive compulsion makes him actually NEED to control and align things to make sure he knows what's going on and can fix a situation. Yiseul likes to feel on top of his own life, on top of the compulsions itching inside of him, but it can be complicated to manage at times. He’d rather die than tell anyone about his inner struggles and keeps his OCD under wraps. It’s uncontrollable to him, all of his thoughts and worries, but Yiseul tries to fight back, which leads to him having a fierce hold over his life. Nothing goes on without him noticing or making a point to obsess over it. It has to align, be perfect, and no one else can catch on to his struggling.

Yiseul doesn’t want to tell people what to do. That’s not part of it at all. He doesn’t want to hold others down, but he does have urges to check on them and obsess over fine details to make sure they’re alright and taking care of themselves. If he does have compulsive thoughts about controlling other's actions, he usually tries his best to bite it down or kindly suggest someone do ‘this or that,’ but on the inside, he’s screaming and tearing at the need to manhandle everything in line. But Yiseul is so determined not to let his OCD get the best of him, so he forces himself to deal with it, to do breathing exercises, and take moments to himself to collect and calm down.

He’s sweet and caring, the type to poke fun for the sake of humor but never to offend or bruise egos. Some would call him humorous, or at least entertaining, because he’s not afraid to put himself out there, being one of the most courageous members of the group. Yiseul doesn’t get embarrassed easily and will do ridiculous stuff to make others laugh or even to amuse himself. Though, don’t take him for a fool, for Yiseul is anything but. A clever one, Yiseul is quick-witted, fast on the verbal draw to make connections or figure problems out. He’s the member in a variety show who catches onto challenges first or always has a plan up his sleeve. He might not be the most intelligent person around, but he is quick and creative, and sometimes just speaking and thinking first can be a benefit. You can count on Yiseul to make some crazy idea or express a wild thought because he’s just always trying to create and use his clever wit as an opportunist. He’s not going to just let a bad situation go. Instead, he’s going to mold it into something else, something more positive and beneficial.

Yiseul is very noticeably flirtatious with nearly anyone. Sometimes it’s unintentional, and just the tone of his voice, like maybe he’s suggesting something, or maybe he’s just playing around, but the tone is there, and many get a bit embarrassed or shy over his comments. Yiseul isn’t the type to be overly crude, though, not unless it’s welcomed or he actually likes someone. His flirting is usually harmless and kind or funny, but he can mean it if he has feelings for said person, then it’s more sincerely authentic and turns to a different level. Though, Yiseul has a good sense of humor about things, or at least an accepting, go-with-the-flow kind of mindset in social situations.

He is probably the most open-minded person alive. He isn’t set in his own ways or too stubborn or closed off to listen and try to understand other perspectives. Rather, Yiseul likes hearing about concepts, ideals, and lifestyles that are different than his own, and he makes a point to respect other’s opinions and boundaries. Yiseul doesn’t judge often or get bent out of shape when a bad situation comes along since he's used to overthinking and figuring out how to deal with life. Rather he can try to find a way to see the positives and make something out of it. It takes a lot to make Yiseul crack. He doesn’t get upset or offended easily, and can take a joke or wise-crack, just as well as he can give them.

For the most part, Yiseul is easy to get along with and doesn’t try to cause issues or fights. Even when he’s insulted, he doesn’t normally take it to heart or really, just tries to logically combat the problem. Yiseul is too thick-skinned for that nonsense. Though, what he isn’t thick-skinned to is jealousy. Yes, he might be a good-natured flirt, but Yiseul takes his relationships very seriously. If he actually catches feelings for someone, then you better believe he’s going to be crazy jealous if someone else flirts with them, touches them, etc. He is literally absorbed into hyper-focusing on this person, so he doesn’t take lightly to others messing with what's his, which is one of the only things that gets him riled up. Yiseul doesn’t want to be hurt or run over, having his feelings taken advantage of. What’s his is his. It just has to be, he has to have a hold on it. He’ll fight for it.

Because Yiseul is so passionate about everything he does or is into, that passion isn’t a joke to him - it drives him forward, takes the forefront of all seriousness. Yiseul gives his literal everything for passion because that's the person he is. All or nothing - all invested. His things are precious. They are Yiseul’s alone. His friends, his family, his lover, these are things that cannot be touched or taken, and he will do everything in his power to make sure they are secure and happy under his watchful eye. Yiseul is a very attentive friend and lover. He pays attention to the little things and gets more invested than he lets on. He’s possessive and careful, observant and private about all of this. Yiseul doesn’t really let people in on his thought process, doesn’t really want people to notice just how controlling he is about his loves and interests.

It’s not like Yiseul is intentionally keeping secrets, but he doesn’t actually open up to many about his feelings and emotions. He prefers to keep this OCD, possessive control behavior to himself, lest people accidentally mess something up or think ill of him. On the outside is a perfect shell of good-natured charm, humorous flirting, but he keeps true thoughts bottled up. His OCD is something that he despises about himself, but he can’t help the disorder he was born with. He cares too much about others to show them this side of him. Yiseul tries to the best of his abilities to come off more laid back than uptight, resisting the strong, pulling urge to control everything. The idea of losing his control is horrible, and when he finds himself lapsing into this kind of territory, Yiseul immediately pulls away and gets distant, going off alone to try to work through it because the last thing he wants is to let others know just how he feels.
