In Season Four, GleekOutBrazil confirmed that there was a deleted Faberry scene in Season Four Episode Twelve where Quinn talks to Rachel about her breakup with a professor in Season Four Episode Eight.

In July 2012, in Comic Con, Lea and Brad discussed how many Faberry scenes were truly deleted.

Brad: I had this one scene with–I had literally written the same Rachel/Quinn scene, I think, five times, different episodes, usually like at the end of the season.

Lea: Every time we do a Rachel and Quinn scene, we do this scene, and we’re like, “This is going to get cut.”

Brad: It’s cut. We cut it every time. It’s the same dialogue. It’s great dialogue!

Lea: We’ve had like ten scenes together that have gotten cut.

Brad: Yeah, that’s always the one to get cut.

In conclusion: Faberry had a lot of potential to be canon, but the GLEE writers and decided to give us the trash known as Finchel and Quick.
