just droppin' ideas
1. issa walking pressure cooker - a lot of it stems from her highly esteemed background and the need to prove her father otherwise (father is a retired lawyer, currently a law prof back at her home town)
2. very introverted individual - finds peace and comfort in just being with herself, doesn't have a ton of friends (more high-bye occaional group mates actually).
- she left behind a big majority of her high school friend group in gyeonggi
- she is also a very pretty girl in a very male dominated major and thus, that puts her social circle at an even more disadvantaged position
3. they don't actually know one another's names. she goes by lee-ji, whereas he goes by jung.
4. she sent the first letter - it was when she first moved to seoul on her own, school was starting in a few weeks and pre-readings were already out (along with the immense pressure).
5. their first meeting (not first touch!!) will be at a ceremonial award. he was there as a photographer, and her as a recipient. overwhelmed by having to talk to so many sponsors and donors about her future, she steps out for a breather. catching his eyes, he follows after her.

lee-ji ( 이지 ) is the pen name wooseok knows her by when they write back and forth to each other. this is in her effort to keep her identity under wraps, not that her name is very much out of the ordinary though.
pretty engineer ( 예쁜 기사 ) is the persona she goes by in snu's school of engineering and computer science. a pretty face like her's roaming about the campus grounds is as rare as it gets, imagine her sitting next to you in computer programming. while acknowledged for her good looks, she finds the unnecessary attention objectifying and ostracising.

✧ a head of generic dark-brown, and yet she still possesses the ability to turn heads
✧ her wavy locks are often tied back in school, either in a bun or in a high pony tail, she never understood how someone could work with their hail falling all over their face

✧ her nails are always kept short and manicured ( nothing too ridiculous ) simply because she can't stand the look of dirt trapped underneath ( ignorance is bliss )

school days. also known as dress-down-mondays ( and the subsequent days in school ). seeing jihyeon in school makes you wonder just exactly how many damn pairs of denim she owns. jeans are always a must for her considering the temperatures of the lab and lecture halls - if its summer, she'll allow herself to get away with shorts or a skirt. her denim bottoms often paired with a solid colored top - her fashion is usually muted and dull.
special occasions. its not very common that you see jihyeon don on a pretty dress, and its usually at the request of her parents for events etc. most dresses are sent from her mother, although one stress relief for her is going window shopping - basically trying them on just for the fit of it, and if its really pretty, she'll get it. she generally has a thing for mid length, flowy dresses, with dainty flowery details.
