+ seola is an extremely shy person. as in she would stare at you to notice her and initiate the conversation as she couldn't bear to. she knows that this isn't how to socialise, and she's tried her best to fix this issue but she just c a n ' t
+ she is an incredibly kind, loyal and compassionate friend. people might dislike her at first because of her annoyed face that was put on most of the time (she swears she doesn't know she does this when she stares) but the moment you break the ice you'll realise how great of a person she is
+ seola is very good at listening and communicating. in fact she even advocates in this. she's had far too bad experiences in the past with misunderstandings and lack of communication that ended up in bad blood. she will listen to you and even if she doesn't agree with what you're saying, she will not impose her thoughts on you. she will tread her way carefully, choosnig the right words to show her opinion on the issue without invalidating yours. some can say this is her biggest charm.
+ if you managed to befriend her and not annoy her off then congrats, you are now victim to her horribly bad puns and terrible bad jokes. it's as if a soul of a50yo inhabited a girl's body (which is.... now that i think about it.... very creepy...)
+ if ever she starts sassing at you, throwing snarky remarks, making fun of you and being sarcastic, you are definitely one of her best friends now. she's what they call a "bruh girl" nowadays: she has a hard time expressing her feelings because she finds it cringe and too mushy for her own liking, so she resorts to teasing.
+ seola WILL definitely hurt you at some point. when she gets angry or upset, even worse if she's tired and/or stressed, and lets her emotions get to her, she will end up speaking without thinking and will say terrible things. she does have a bad habit of saying mean things and crying when she's angry, but she will do anything to make up for it and will apologize non stop
+ she's very passionate and determined in anything she does. which is good. but seola takes it to another level: she would neglect her health, her sleep and her overall wellbeing for her passion. someone please smack this girl when she does because she never learns and honestly it scares her too at some point, when she gets taken back to reality. same thing with taking responsabilities.
background. honestly seola had the most normal life possible. she was born and raised in hoyang, in a family of 5 including her, her parents and her two siblings (one sister and one brother). she didn't exactly stand out in town, other than being one of the very few girls who were dedicated into sports. dkml opened about a few months before she left for uni and she would spend most of her free time there since she found the place extremely peaceful and comforting. after appearing everyday for the first two 2-3 weeks of its opening (yes you can say she blasted her weekly allowance into this), she definitely became a regular (what a surprise!) and became friends with the two siblings and got to know their parents. when she left for uni, she decided to study applied linguistics as a student athlete (she new she couldn't make a living out of playing baseball). unfortunately, her prediction was rather accurate and she hurt herself badly beginning march (in an athelete's mindset only. she just broke her wrist), making her sit out for the rest of the sports season. since she suddenly has a big opening in her schedule and couldn't stand just sitting on the bench while her team was in practice, she decided to dedicate all her attention into studying. as time passed she soon found this incredibly stressful and jittery as she can not destress anymore: her only way to do so was to play ball, and she is incapable of doing so anymore. deciding that she can't take it anymore and that she needed to escape this environment, she asked her uni to let her finish the course online and went back home to hoyang about a month or two before summer, around beginning may, to heal. first thing she did when home was to visit her favourite place in town again, dkml, to say hi to the twins and their parents, but also to destress and relax. she couldn't help but notice that this place is now increadibly popular, and decided to apply to work here when she knew about them hiring.
lifestyle. now that she's online schooling and not doing sports, she has a much much less hectic schedule. she gets to sleep in now, until about 9, before taking her sweet time to get ready for the day. luckily for her, her wrist managed to heal well enough for her to be put into a soft cast just before going home, gaining mobility and usage of it, despite not allowed to put too much effort on it. activities in a day include watching movies/shows, studying, learning how to play the guitar and learning how to draw (as new hobbies she picked up during the time she couldnt play ball), since she has nothing better to do she would switch up and jumble these activities around each day for the whole week and repeat! admitedly the lack of sports makes her jiterry, so she decided to go on a run a few times a week in order to ease of the jitters, along with going to dkml a few times a week to hang with her friends and help out if she can.

+ seola is so lazy she went on a date wearing sweats once. but i guess it's okay because it's part of her identity and the guy found it cute (wtf ikr)

the name's jadu - it's niceto meet you. she extends her hand to shake as she sits down, then inviting you to do the same. the chairs seem to come forward to greet you as well, putting themselves at the perfect spot to meet your bottom. h-heyyy....? my name's choi seola and nice to meet you??? she looks around confused and whisper yells at jadu dude why are you acting like we don't know each other????
so we're going to be doing the interview in a tag team kind of way, thanks to the suggestion of my dumb brother (a slight eye roll is detected), and obviously i'll be starting it off! so why do you want to work here? i uhm. this place has always been a place of comfort for me, like a second shelter, ever since it opened. i saw that you guys were looking to hire and i happened to have a lot of free time so why not? i get to spend my time wisely and be somewhere that brings me peace, two birds with one stone. oh! besides i can also gain a bit of money so.... three birds with one stone?
