Here's a SaiDa fic idea for you (writers, I mean :D)

So yeah, what the title says.

1. SaiDa as military doctors:

CPT Minatozaki Sana is a 2nd year military surgery resident on of course, a military hospital. She is an exceptional resident with an unorthodox style in patient management. This is both a pro and a con. Pro since her peers and some senior residents admire her easier but equally effective techniques, but a Con, because most of the consultants in the hospital, and some senior residents, are "by the book doctors" . This gets her in trouble most of the time, because as a military institution (and the department of Surgery in general) it is a hierarchical organization where you don't have a say on anything unless you're part of the higher ranks. Sana is often misinterpreted because she loves projecting herself as an intimidating and serious person (so as to gain respect), but her closest friends would say so otherwise; they know she's a fluff ball if you're aware of the right buttons to push. The road to chief residency is on the line, but she really isn't aiming for that, she just wants to have her own voice. Still, in a cut throat department, everyone wants the best position, and unconsciously, Sana gets tangled in the mess gaining her a few haters along the way. She tries to deal with all of it, but there's a limit to everything; even a person's spirit isn't spared.

Enter Dr. Kim Dahyun, a fresh medical graduate and a new intern at the the same military hospital. She has to complete all her clinical rotations in a year before becoming a full-fledged doctor. She's the happy-go-lucky type and usually a very confident and friendly energy ball. She wasn't planning on having her internship at a military institution, but this was the only place that accepted her application (kinda like a last resort). Her lack of discipline and playful ways almost always gets her in trouble, but she always manages to squeeze her way out because of her humor and charming personality.

She just started her internship with her OB-Gyne clinical rotation for 2 months when she first encounters Sana. Sana, in high spirits at that time, was about to refer one of her patients to a senior OB-Gyne resident in one of their midnight shifts (Dahyun's 24 hour duty). Cliche and a little bit corny, but it was love at first sight when the two unknowingly share a little playful exchange just to lift their spirits after a tiring afternoon shift. Since then, Dahyun was infatuated and was more than willing to know a little bit more about this peculiar resident, only to find out that Surgery is her last clinical rotation, and that she'll have to wait until the end of the year before she actually gets a chance to be supervised "under her wing". Dahyun is normally confident, but for some unknown reason, she starts tensing up and keeps getting tongue tied whenever she encounters the infamous CPT Minatozaki. This doesn't stop her from stealing a few moments (and candid photos, trust her though she's not a creep haha) and dropping little hints and little treats whenever they meet along the hospital hallways. The best one yet was when she gave the captain 3 lavender roses on Valentines Day, sent anonymously of course, Dahyun is a useless lesbian when it comes to her (also, try looking up what lavender roses mean :D).

2. You think it's that easy? Well here are the plot twists:

- Military institutions frown upon same relationships

- Dahyun finds out in the middle of the year that Sana is actually in a relationship with a male resident doctor of another institution

- COVID-19 pandemic makes its appearance causing Dahyun to lose the last 3 months of her internship, just before she actually gets to be under Sana's direct supervision under the department of surgery :(

So... Yeah. Any takers? :)))

You have my blessing. PM me too if you want to ask for more information, because believe it or not, this is roughly based on my reality. And unfortunately, I don't have the ending. Like stated, COVID got in the way, so it's a free for all I guess.

I'm kinda curious and a bit excited to read your rendition. Fluff? Angst? Maybe even LOL, if it floats your boat, then why not. Its up to you. :)

I would write it myself, but I just don't have the time. My exams are a little less than 2 months away and I have to cram 4 years worth of studying just so I would hopefully pass. Also, I'm a ty writer so, I might just waste a potentially good plot.

Anyway, I really hope someone reaches out and be interested enough to write a story about it. It'd be really awesome. :)

Hasta La Vista Chingus! This baby doctor's supposed to be studying right now. Stay safe! :)
