Ā

Personality:Ā

positive. ; ambitious, hardworking, modest, adventurous.
negative. ; naive, blunt, distant, impatient.

"describe heejin? hm... well one thing i admire the most about her is her ambitiousness. she always has a set goal, and is always so driven to reach that goal. i know she wants to make her parents proud, and that's why she almost never gives up.Ā it's just so admirable sometimes to just take a look at her and see her grow more and more each day. her ambitiousness also led to her being hardworking. honestly, it's easy for people to say that she have it easy, after all,Ā being a scholar should make her a little more better at things, no? but what people didn't see is the blood sweat and tears she shed to be able to receive all this. so i really would like to credit heejin's hardwork to reach this stage, and i will always support her from the back." - choi eun.

"what i love about heejin is that how modest of a person she is. she is smart, pretty, good in volleyball and all other things, but never once i hear her boast about herself. i mean, if i were her, i totally would heh. being in heejin's position sometimes, would make someone forget who they are, and what made them up but unfortunately, heejin is not like that. and she always link her success and acheivements to the people supporting her, she is just that kind of person. honestly, i am glad i got to meet her and be her friend." - lee juhyun.

"kim heejin? i hear good things about her from her lecturers, and i could see it too with my own eyes. but well, one very noticable thing about her is how adventurous this kid is. the adventurousness we are talking about here is not the kind of where you dare someone to skydive kind of adventure, but the kind of where you are open to experimenting new things. for example, she has been real good at absorbing setting techniques, and i dare say she is an asset to the team right now. she just gets so creative sometimes, not just in volleyball but also in her life. this girl likes to challenge traditional, and custom values. it is so fresh and refreshing to see, because it produces a new and totally original idea one might never think of. she has a bright future ahead of her." - volleyball team coach.

"come to think about it... heejin noona does lack in something. she could be so naive sometimes. i mean, not in the way where she is unexperienced or what, but like she could be unaware of people's bad intentions. i remember during her middle school days, where her classmates would ask her about homework, but really they were practically making her do it for them. she also willing help other people, even though they wouldn't do half as much as she did for her. it gets so frustrating sometimes, because i don't like seeing her get hurt like that. i wish she could fix this." - heejin's younger brother.

"oh, heejin. yeah, she's a good co-worker. i like working with her. but sometimes she can be so blunt. i mean, it's good that she's honest with her opinion, yeah, but i would prefer it if she uses nicer words to discuss about something she doesn't like? i mean she doesn't have to be so direct about her dislike of me being late to my friday shift which also causes her to be late to do whatever it is that she do. sometimes my classes run late, so it's not like i chose to be late. luckily she is quick and easy to apologise if you tell her your reasons. i do wish the bluntness doesn't come first though sometimes. it can create conflict sometimes." - heejin's co-worker.

"if there's one thing i can fix about heejin, it would be her distant personality. sometimes, she just disconnects from her emotions you know? like she would care if others are sad or down but when it comes to herself and her emotions, she would rather shut it down. says that it is not important how she feels, and that she will get over it. i don't really fancy it. she shares other people's burden but rarely let others share hers. i'm just afraid one day it's gonna eat up on her, and she would fall on rock bottom. i wish she would understand that i mean it when i say i will always be here for her." - youngho.

"our dear heejin, she is a fast worker and likes to get things done quick, so if things go the opposite, she would be really impatient. she has always been like that since a kid. and then she would complain about how slow things are progressing and how it is going to take longer to get things done. it is good for herself, to always be quick on her feet, but it's not so good if she is working with groups. she can't tolerate slow person, and we always worry it's going to make her break out aĀ fight or something. it is a miracle that she can control herself in her volleyball team, because it takes a lot of teamwork. as for assignments or courseworks, we are just hoping that everything goes well for her, as well as her groupmates. we ourselves are still correcting this behaviour of her." - heejin's parents.

Ā

Background:

heejin was born as the first child out of four, to a loving set of parents. heejin was not born with a silver spoon in , her father having worked as a clerk in a local elementary school while her mother maintains her own small coffee shop. their family is not well-off, but they lived by comfortably. heejin hasĀ a strong relationship with her entire family.

growing up, heejin had a relatively joyful childhood. living in a small urban neighbourhood in jeonju made everyone close with each other, and practically everyone knows everyone one way or another. heejin grew up having many friends from within the neighbourhood itself, and spent most of her childhood with them. playing at the sports court in the community centre, reading at the public library, participating in any communal work being held. not a moment of her life was dull.

she attends the public local school, from pre-schol itself, and thenĀ throughout primary to her high school years. heejin is sort of a excellent student, she always passes her examinations with flying colours, as her parents always stress on the importance of education. aside from keeping up good grades, heejin also started out in sports at an early age, when she was seven years old. she liked spending her time watching a group of older boys playing volleyball at the communityĀ sports court, and decided to try it out. she loved the sport very much, and joined the volleyball club at her school, and have been playing said sport ever since.

another memorable part of heejin's life in jeonju is the language exchange session that the community holds every weekend. it's a free class offered to the people in the neighbourhood who are interested in learning other languages. foreigners who moved to jeonju will be there too, so that they can learn the korean language while also teaching their native language to the locals too. that's where heejin's love for the russian language was born. she first started out in the language because at that time, russian was the only language offered in the class that does not use the latin alphabets, instead using cyrillic script. it fascinated heejin so much she chose to learn that language with her language buddy. from that fascination, grew heejin's love for the language. she especially loves the old folktaleĀ from russia, that seemed especially real compared to other folktale. she continued on learning until high school.

that is how she found out about ncu and their undergraduate programmes actually. heejin had wanted to do something she was passionate about in university, but most local universities in jeonju does not offer anything in russian studies. after doing a bit more of a research, she found out about ncu and their programmes. she was immediately interested in the russian language and literacy major, the only problem being that neo city is a bitĀ different from how she grew up in jeonju, and heejin did not want to burden her parents with the fees. after sitting for the college entrance tests, she applied to ncu, for full sports scholarship just to test her luck. after all she wouldn't really go to ncu if she didn't have any financial aid, and what other opportunity is there for her to use years of her joining volleyball tournaments?Ā

what heejin did not expect was to really be offered the full sports scholarship ride to the university, and she can study in anything she wants to boot! after deep conversations and discussions with her parents, in which they told heejin to just do what she is passionate about, and that they will support her with all their hearts, heejin accepted the offer, and thus became a ncu student.

party life.

heejin is not much of a party girl really, she prefers to not go to night partiesĀ if she has the choice especially during during mondays to thursdays, where she have morning classes and work the evening shift. the only times she goes to college parties is when eun and juhyun needs a chaperone, or if youngho is there to be with her. even then she prefers to stay unnoticed and mostly hidden, out of scene. she also likes to go back to the dorms early, despite eun and juhyun's reluctance.Ā at parties she doesn't socialise much except for the people she came with, and doesn't drink a lot too.Ā heejin prefers it that way. it's not that she hates partying, just that it's not her scene really.

free time.

during her free times, be it during the gap between her class and her evening shift, or the rest of her friday and weekends after her morning training or shift, heejin likes to spend it either studying, completing her assignments or hanging out with her friends. heejin doesn't like to be alone, thus these times are spent with her friends. she is open to anything really, as long as she is not late to any of her responsibilities.

Relationships
Ā
CHOI EUN (KIM CHAEWON). / 20. / ROOMMATEĀ SLASH LECTURE BUDDY SLASH BEST FRIEND.

"did you turn off the light switch?"

"no, i thought you did."

"but i already did it yesterday?"

"how much of a fool can you be choi eun?"

eun and heejin are designated roommates, since they are on the same course. eun is just from seoul, while heejin is from jeonju. when heejin first arrived at ncu, she didn't know a lot of things, and eun, instead of making fun of her decided to be a helping hand and helped heejin in everything. it's easy for the both of them to grow close, eventually becoming best friends.
LEE JUHYUNĀ (AHN YUJIN).Ā / 20. /Ā VOLLEYBALL TEAMMATES SLASH BEST FRIEND.
Ā

"can you bring me a gatorade at practice today? lemon flavoured please."

"why don't you get lover boy to bring you one?"

"lee juhyun!"

"what? i'm just saying"

juhyun and heejin met during the volleyball tryouts. there weren't many freshman trying out for the team, and heejin just approached whoever was the closest to her at that time, and it was juhyun. both girls had been quite nervous, but after talking with each other and cracking some jokes, they both loosened up around each other. when they both made it onto the team, they become closer, and with eun too even though juhyun is taking a different course from them (statistics), the three often hang out together.
JUNG YOONOH AND PARK MINSEOK.Ā / 21. / ACQUAINTANCE.
Ā

"hey kim, make sure to come watch our basketball match this weeked yeah?"

"sure, i'll tell the whole team to come along."

"nice, by the way your match the other day was wicked."

"aha, thank you."

heejin isn't really close, or know these two well per se, but the athletic community in ncu is pretty close-knitted, and everyone there supported each other, no really ugly rivalry between different sports. and one habit the sports family have is to watch and cheer each other by attending their matches. be it a friendly match, or the university league, teams from different sports will come down to watch the game. heejin has definitely crossed paths with yoonoh and minseok, and exchanged a few nice words with them, but she's still not that close to them.
MOON HEEYOUNG AND JUNG CHAEYEON. / 21. /Ā ACQUAINTANCE
Ā

"your name will be called when your order is ready.Ā um, i saw you playing last night, and you are really good!'

"oh really? um, thank you i guess."

"um yeah."

"hey do you maybe wanna join the charity fundraising this friday?"

as for these girls, who wouldn't know them? practically the campus' goddesses. however, heejin often met them at the cafe. she works part time there, and heeyoung loves spending time there. so heejin had made small talks to her before, while taking her order, just fill in the silence. as for chaeyeon, sometimes when she tags along with heeyoung, somehow always have different charity events she likes to ask heejin to join. if heejin has free time, she would join chaeyeon's events.
KIM DONGMIN. / 21. /Ā FRIEND. (collaboration with dochimoshi.)
Ā

"youngho said you have something to give to me?'

"yeah here, i baked these during the weekend."

"thank you! you always make delicious food."

"so, johnny ask you out yet?"

believe it or not, heejin never noticed dongmin around until after she knew youngho and was introduced to dongmin because dongmin is youngho's roommates. ever since then, the both of them clicked well, and heejin likes hanging out with dongmin. it also helps that they both share the same love for arts, and that's something that they often bond over. (bonus points to dongmin for always feeding heejin with his delicious foods).
The plans
Ā

Ā Ā
Ā

So, how ready are you for this summer?

"definitely very ready! i always look forward to summer, you know take a break from all the studying and have a bit fun."
Ā
Do you have plans for this summer? If yes, what is it? If no, what would you want to do?

"i don't really have anything specific planned, though my priority is to visit my parents first. maybe eun and juhyun, or even youngho would have plans,i just follow them most of the time."
Ā
Do you drink? What's your favorite drink? How good is your alcohol tolerance and what kind of drunk are you?

"ah drinking... i don't drink that often? i only ever drink soju or beer really and even then, i try to avoid getting drunk because eun once said i'm such a messy drunk.. she told me i called her and cried about our coursework even though she was sitting right beside me."Ā
Ā
If you were to go on a road trip, can you drive? Do you have a car and willing to use it for the trip?
Ā
"i do have a driver's license, but i don't drive a lot because back in jeonju, everywhere is reachable by foot or public transport. i can probably drive for a road trip though. as for the car, no unfortunately i don't have one."
Ā
If you were to go on another country, where would you like to go and what are you going to do there?

"this is probably going to sound cliche and very obvious, but i really want to go to russia. see the country and the culture and well, what better than to use all of our knowledge, no? or maybe the united states, because youngho always tells me fun stories of him back in united states, it got me really curious."
Ā
Anything we need to know or any last words?

"nothing except that i'm hoping this summer will be filled with lots of funs for everyone and myself included!"
The Lover

Ā Ā

Birth Name:Ā john jun suh.Ā
Other Name(s):Ā
ā†³ suh youngho. (his korean name)
Ā
Nickname(s):
ā†³ johnny. it has always been his go-to nickname that everyone calls him, back in america, and now here in korea. everyone else except for heejin calls him johnny.Ā
ā†³ youngho. it's considered a nickname, because johnny only let heejin call him youngho.
ā†³ lamp post. sometimes when youngho gets on heejin's nerves (mostly because he likes to about how he is literally taller than her, even if it's just a mere 15cm) she will call him lamp post all day, until youngho finally decides to stop tormenting her.
ā†³ oppa. even though heejin is younger than youngho by 2 years, she never really call him oppa, but still mantains formality in conversations. she will only call youngho oppa when she wants something from him.Ā
Ā
Face-claim: nct's johnny suh.
Ā
Birthdate: february 9thĀ (22).
Birthplace: chicago, united states of america.
Hometown: chicago, united states of america.
Nationality: american.
Ethnicity: korean.
Ā
Occupation: fellow ncu student. international relations major, senior year.
Ā
Personality:

(+) friendly, affectionate, caring, generous.
(-) hot-tempered, secretive, impulsive, fussy.

youngho is a really friendly person, and almost everyone who knows him have good words about him. it's just in his nature, to be kind to everyone, and it makes him so likeable that he has many friends, all over the university, even people from different courses. he gives off a 'good friend' aura.

being the only child in his family, he grew up receiving lots of love from his parents. that itself made him to be an affectionate person by nature. he loves showing his affection to his friends, and his younger friends by hugging them, kissesĀ on the cheeks are normal, and a little bit of rough housing to play around.

youngho is also a very caring person. he had always wanted younger siblings, but never got them. so when he has younger friends, he would dote on them like how an older sibling would. it's just his desire to take good care of people younger than him, like how his older cousins used to treat him.

other than that, youngho is very generous. if someone lands in trouble and need financial help, he would never hesitate to step in and give a helping hand. he feels like it's his responsibility to help those in need around him, by providing them with the aid they need. he also likes to treat his friends to nice meals or outings sometimes, because he feels like it is one way to show them how much he appreciates them.

with all those goodness, youngho could be quite hot-tempered sometimes. it is very rare for him to get angry over things, so if he does, it wouldĀ be quite bad of an issue. however it is no excuse for him to not be able to control his words and actions. he could get very harsh with his words, and sometimes would get too rough with a shove. a fist fight never broke out fortunately thanks to youngho's friend but if provoked he could literally start one.

similar to heejin, but quite different. youngho is secretive. how is this any different from heejin? well if heejin shuts down her emotions, youngho shuts down his problem. he never lets anyone in on his problems and troubles, and would always insist that he got it and that he doesn't need any help, even if he obviously so need it.

youngho too could be quite impulsive at times. one of the downsides of having too many friends is that how some of them sometimes would like to influence him on things. he would make rash decisions at times due to hearing what people say, and people's opinion without thinking it through. it is a bad trait of him, since it could affect his life in different ways if he does continue like this.

youngho could be fussy sometimes. in the aspect of how much of a perfectionist he can be. he pays a lot of attention on details, and if even one is missing, he would literally lecture you on it. the level of attention he pays on his work is insane, and he would like them to be as flawless as possible. sometimes it is difficult for people to keep up with him, and it certainly made them uncomfortable with him sometimes.

Ā
Background:

youngho is an only child, born and raised in chicago. the way of his upbringing is one of like an american. he went to the local school there, from pre-school until he graduated high school.

even so, his parents never failed to remind him of his korean roots. they spoke korean everyday at home. korean meals are youngho's favourites. he loved meeting other koreans at the small gathering that the minority communityĀ held once a week.

it is only natural that he wanted to know more about his origins. when he found out that his parents still have relatives back in korea, he didn't waste any time. a summer break after graduating high school, he went back to korea and stayed with his relatives.

youngho didn't expect to literally love living there in korea. it was different than the united states, but in a good way. being quite rash in his decision making, he decided to apply to some universities in korea including ncu,Ā alongside the ones in the united states that he already applied to, just to try his luck.

to his immense surprise, ncu accepted him. youngho was torn at that point. to leave chicago and his parents behind, to study at korea, or to stay and just go to a local university? youngho is close with his parents, and he didn'tĀ really want to leave them behind. after all, he was their only child.

but youngho's parents are supportive. they loved seeing their son reunited with his roots. they thought it was a good opportunity for him to go study in korea, because if he wanted to know more about his culture, it would be best to discover it in korea itself.

and so suh youngho was an international student, accepted into ncu to study international relations.
Ā
The Story:

at first glance.

heejin is convinced that she is going mad. eun and juhyun had been texting her all day while she is working her shift on the cafe. all the fuss over the boy eun has been crushing over for like months. apparently the both of them are at the library, and the said crush is also there. both eun and juhyun demanded heejin get over to the library immediately after her shift ends, for what, heejin doesnā€™t even want to know actually. most probably so that the trio could ā€˜planā€™ something dumb eun would do, like probably introducing herself to the guy.

time seemed to pass by real slow, and heejin wouldnā€™t admit it to their faces, but she is getting impatient and wanted to join them like, right now at this moment. business had been quite slow that day, mostly only regulars dropping by. one of them being moon heeyoung, and today she brought the whole squad with her. all four of them are working on different things though, and heejin just observed them from the counter.

sighs. when will her co-worker come?

as ifĀ right on the cue, her co-worker walked through the door, probably came to the cafe straight away after his classes ended. after greeting him, heejin gathered all of her things hurriedly, and rushed to go outside. she didnā€™t even put on her coat, in the rush, instead opting to hold it in her hands, alongside her phone and her water tumbler. she gave a quick goodbye through her shoulders at her co-worker and went through the cafe door.

like any other cliche stories, heejin crashed into this tall pole of a human and quite embarrassingly, dropped all of her things in her hands. not her phone though, not her precious phone. at that point, everyone in the cafe had drawn their attention to the odd pair, after heejin shrieked quite loudly she might say. to spare herself from embarrassment, she quickly gathered her things, said a quick sorry and took off like a cockroach, leaving suh youngho dumbfounded and just watching over how quick heejin is leaving.

finally, a smile made it onto his lips, as he found the running girl cute. maybe one day they will meet properly.

second time is a coincidence.

heejin is so dead. like literally so dead.

she had practice today, but she is already running late. she stayed back to discuss with her professor about a topic in russian history that she didnā€™t quite understand, and got so immersed in their discussion that she didnā€™t notice the time.

when she noticed, she apologised profusely to her professor and all but rushed out of her lecture room. luckily all of her things are already at the locker room, all heejin has to do is get her at the sports centre like right away.

as she literally ran for her life, she made it to the sports centre. however, the entrance is blocked by a group of guys talking and laughing their hearts out like everything is going fine. well at least, it was for them. heejin gritted her teeth at the thought of having to go through them, but the thought of having to do extra drills, she hated it more.

heejin quite literally barged through the group of guys, repeating the line ā€œso sorry, but iā€™m already so lateā€ over and over again until she made it into the building. the guys were confused at being pushed around by some girl, but they dismissed it, they too, had been late at training once upon a time.

among the guys though, stood suh youngho. ā€˜interestingā€™ he thought. the cute girl from the cafe, is some sort of an athlete too. youngho never saw her around the building before, so she must be a freshman, he assumed. this is the second time they met, but youngho couldnā€™t get ahold of the girl. maybe thereā€™s a next time.

third timeā€™s the charm.

heejin was extremely nervous. today is a volleyball match against a neighbouring university, and both teams had been rivals for a very long time. she is going to be on the starting lineup, as their first and main setter is out of commission, having earned a knee injury during one of their practice sessions.

even though she is eager to be on the court and show off her talents and skills, heejin was going crazy inside. after all, she is just a freshman at that time, and it is her first year on the university team. for her to be starting on this day of all day, where they are going against their long time rival, in a must win match for the sake of their pride at playing home, thereā€™s no doubt that heejinā€™s insecurity is up through the roof. juhyun had tried to calm her down, but to no avail. juhyun herself is not starting, having been a fresh new talent on the team with less experience compared to the older players.

finally itā€™s match time. heejinā€™s nervousness gets the best of her, and her setting wasnā€™t really up for the money. the first set went the opposite of their way, and heejin is frustrated.

waiting for the second set to start, heejin finally tried to calm herself down, and took a moment to just breathe and observe her surroundings. she already got a pep talk from their first setter and their coach, getting encouragements mostly and strategies on what to do. juhyun had stayed by her side all the time, making sure heejin is as comfortable as she can be. as she glanced around the audience, she saw eun on the bleachers and couldnā€™t hold in her laughter. she pointed eun out to juhyun and the other girl too laughed.

eun had brought along a placard, on it written ā€˜heejin my number 1 setterā€™. what is funny about the situation is how eun was seated among other students, probably much older than her, but she is enthusiastically joining in on the cheering for the home team. the enthusiasm on her face was funny, she didnā€™t even notice heejin and juhyun laughing at her. that calmed heejin down, and with determination burning in her, she walked into the court, ready to give her best to her teammates.

the next three sets went by like a breeze, heejin finally getting on her game, and is setting so well. she connected with all of her teammates, and played really well. their team won the next three sets over their rivals and won the match quite convincingly.

unbeknownst to heejin, a certain suh youngho is also on the bleachers, watching her play. at first youngho just wanted to watch the match for fun, because their female volleyball counterpart is playing. but then he found the cute girl playing setter, and he just found himself glueing his eyes on her throughout the whole match. he was mesmerised by her, and of how good of a setter heejin is. after the match ended, he decided to hang back for a while so that he can talk to the girl.

after the match ended, heejin got a lot of hugs and pats and good jobs thrown her way, and she was very enthusiastic. the team stayed in the auditorium, doing cooling down excercises as the audience slowly emptied the auditorium. after their cooling down is completed the team headed towards the locker room, eager to wash off all of the sweat.

as heejin followed the rest of her teammates, she was stopped by a hand holding out a lemon gatorade (her favourite by the way) to her. when she looked up, she was faced by this familiar looking guy, but she canā€™t exactly pinpoint his face to a name. heejin took the bottle of gatorade and said a soft thanks.

youngho smiled down at the girl, and started up a conversation. ā€œi saw you playing, you did so well,ā€

heejin blushed, because who wouldnā€™t? this good looking guy somehow got her her favourite flavour of gatorade and now he is praising her skills? oh my.

she settled for a simple response.

ā€œthank you, but iā€™m not really that good,ā€

youngho hums in response, and heejin could tell from his expression that he didnā€™t really believe her. a comfortable silence settled over them. heejinā€™s teammates are long gone, juhyun more so, ditched her as early as she can after seeing youngho talking to her. that girl really, heejin mused.

ā€œiā€™m youngho,ā€ youngho introduced himself, breaking the silence.

ā€œand iā€™m heejinā€

ā€œwe actually already met, you know, at the cafe, but you seemed to be in a rush,ā€ said youngho, a cheeky smile playing on his lips.

a horrified expression washes over heejinā€™s face, as she remembered exactly how she just barrelled into youngho and walked away hurriedly, and rudely, if she might add. heejin ended up apologising profusely to youngho, which startles a laugh out of him.

ā€œdonā€™t worry about it, itā€™s not everyday you get a cute girl crashing onto you and running away after right?ā€

with those words, heejinā€™s brain literally malfunctioned. she could only sputter out embarrassing noises, while youngho watches on with a fond smile.

letā€™s just say that day, youngho went back with the cute girlā€™s number saved on his phone.

the rest of it is an adventure to be explored.

after that encounter,Ā heejin spent a lot of time with youngho, besides eun and juhyun. the older guy is really easy to be around, his presence a comfortable one. because of that, their relationship progressed quite quickly.

the two are very involved in each other's life. mostly because youngho is in the volleyball team too, so they started out with a common interest. other than that, people like to point out that heejin and youngho behaves exactly like a couple.Ā

youngho sends a picture of his outfit to heejin everyday to ask her opinion of it. heejin will go to youngho when she needs help with some english translation of her homework. the both of them likes to go on 'friendly' dates. wanna watch the newest marvel movie? they're both down for it. a new cute cafe just opened downtown? let's both go explore it. finals are coming and i need a study buddy even though our majors are completely unrelated? yeah let's meet somewhere.

youngho is super protective over heejin, always making sure she is okay whenever she is with him, and always texting her asking about her whereabouts if she's not. at first, he brushed it off as a brotherly instinct over the younger, because heejin could be very clueless and naive at times.

however as their relationship continued on at the pace they're at, youngho couldn't help but to realise, how quickly he is falling in love with the younger girl. call him a hopeless romantic, but he loves every single thing about heejin.

he loves how passionate she is in both her study field and volleyball, the things she love to do the most. he admires heejin's relationship with her family, how she just wants to make her whole family proud of her. he adores how hardworking heejin is, juggling everything she has in her life while working a part-time job, just so she doesn't add to the burden of her parents. he likes how bright the younger girl always seem to be, even on the darkest days of her life. that's it. he is totally in love with kim heejin.

of course he kept quiet about it. youngho didn't want to make it awkward. he values the relationship they have right now. he's scared of losing her, if he made a move and she didn't reciprocate. but he also doesn't want to lose her to others. he would be blind to not see that even with him practically acting as heejin's boyfriend right now, there are still guys admiring her.

and so youngho made up his mind. this summer, everything is about to change. and he hopes that it is for the better.
Ā
Current Status: heejin and youngho are practically dating at this point, only that they don't know it.Ā
Ā
Ending: youngho finally mans up and confessed to heejin to make it official, mostly because he too is graduating soon, and is still deciding wheter to go back to the united states or to stay at korea. his current mission though? to finally make heejin his.Ā
