bckground.

   part i : beginning of the dreaming

   breanna was born and partially raised in los angeles, california. she lived more in the nicer areas so money was never a problem for her. her mother and father moved at a young age due to job oppurtunities so, all she knew from the beginning of her life was america. she was a good student, stayed out of trouble but always had a passion for performing arts and music. she danced for multiple dance companies since she was 8 but never exceed to the point of fame. her mother didn't want to "sell" her out like other kids so she instead offered breanna to create a youtube to expand her platform. this became a part of her in every aspect but she didn't really get anything from it except a couple friends and fans from it. around 15 years old was when breanna's parent's decided on their move back to korea. they were retiring and it was their dream retirement plan to move back, breanna insisted on staying for her sake but it was already set in stone. she feared the unknown, not only a new setting but a new country that she has to adapt to. 

   part ii : creating and living the dream

   the move to korea took a toll on breanna because of her personal culture awareness. she was korean, spoke korean and looked korean but she didn't feel authentically korean. she had tough time conforming so she relied on her parent's throughout this journey. since she was still in american highschool adapting to the schools, trends and lifestyles was difficult for her as a student. she didn't have alot of friends and a lot of people didn't take time to be friends with her. she went through a silent phase during this time but, she continued to push herself since dropping out wasn't the best idea. she then became interesed in dancing professionally, breanna took this oppurtunity by joining 1Million Dance Studio at 16, she felt a bit late in the process but she catched on quickly because of prior experience. during this process, she started to upload more on her youtube and social media to feel more connected in korean society. she danced, rapped and sang to multiple kpop song's and posted them up on her youtube which made her popular through time. she had become really popular on social media sites like instagram and twitter which boosted her as well. it was when JYP held auditions in seoul and she had finally made her mark. it felt like a dream come true for her especially knowing how fond she was with multiple groups and the MV's she danced to on her channel. she was accepted as a trainee since she had prior experience from dancing at 1Million and many recommendations went out from there. that made way for breanna into becoming the next big thing.

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME AN IDOL?

— "i always dreamed of performing and dancing. i love to express myself and my heart through dancing so..really it was coincidental to me” she chuckled a bit before speaking. “i kinda decided to just take my chance, i didn’t know i’d even be here. i never thought i’d even be a rapper, but i found my passion. i’m so blessed for my opportunities and i thank Big Hit everyday for what they do for me” she said then smiled softly.

WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT FROM THE OTHER MEMBERS of your group?

— “oh my gosh, this question sounds so harsh” she said then chuckled. “i think we all have our talents and i believe my dancing and visual aspects are very good. i’ve been with JYP and trained with 1Million since i was 15/16 so, i have various one ups on others” she nodded and smiled graciously.

—”ahh, this is so hard..” she said as she twiddled with her fingers. “i think.. yoongi, i’ve met him a while back and he’s just so hardworking. i aspire to be as good as him one day in my rap skills” she chuckled. “i know it would take some time but he really helps me and always makes sure that i do my best”

— "please, please support hocuspocus! we worked so hard and the girls and i have come so far to show the world our talents! we appreciate all the love and continuous supoort, we can't wait to give you guys more!" she ended with a soft smile and a wave.

PRSONLITY.

— under all the tough looks mark is a pretty sweet guy. he's courageous, funny, and sometimes very sarcastic which drives breanna mad sometimes. mark has his way of charm, he's a huge charmer especially with that big smile of his and his way of words. he's really just a guy who speaks his truth, he never depends on anyone and is independent in every form. he sees the good things in life and goes for it. he does have an empathetic side but only when it comes to his friends, family and people he loves like breanna, he's weak in the knees and protects her at all costs. he is also very free and wild to some, he doesn't really care if something risks his overall "image." he likes to do things that makes him happy, he's a true friend and lover.

— mark and breanna met through training, jyp tend to put breanna with other idols to see how she would adjust with more experienced people. mark had just been that person, breanna surprisingly was put with mark and they immediately hit it off because of their backgrounds and interests. she was a bit surprised seeing mark because at the moment they were planning on airing a video. breanna caught his eye and they kept with eachother throughout the whole session. they built a quick friendship through the class because of the close contact of dancing. they had to perform for the final performance and the dance ( first couple of course lol ) was rather intimiate, so they became way more than comfortable with each other. from that day on, they became really close friends.
