I don't know if anyone will even read this, but I just had to say that I actually wrote something for the first time in months.

I moved to Korea last year to teach then a few months later, became the manager of the school as well. So between teaching a full schedule (9am - 7:30pm most days), and managing the school I've had very little time to actually write anything. Most of my free time is spent catching up with housework (adulting is not fun) or spending time with my fiance (definitely fun!) Which has led to me having little time, or inspiration to sit down and write anything.

I've had the odd good idea here and there. And I still have scenarios for scenes running through my head on a daily basis, but actually sitting down and writing hasn't happened in a very, very long time.

But because of the situation with the corona virus, my school has been closed this week, and will most likely remain closed for the rest of the month. So apart from a few meetings with my director, I will have a lot of free time on my hands for the next couple of weeks. So I sat down today to write and it took so long for me to get started. I stared at the blank page for so long that I almost gave up. But I found an idea that I had thought of ages ago in a file and decided to give it a go and I'm sitting here with 2000 words done. I've remembered that feeling of accomplishment I used to get from writing well into the night back when I was in university.

Hopefully I can keep the momentum going during my unforeseen break, and beyond.
