It's the last day of 2019! This year marks an important milestone in my fangirl life! I started using this AFF account of mine (again) and got into Seventeen Jeongcheol couple ficdom!! Thank to all Jeongcheol writers of AFF, I got introduced to another OTP and to be honest, I was never so active on this site like I am this year ❤ I feel alive again, *sobs* my fangirl spirit is back sfshjfkygjdk.

There are so many good fics I've read this year but this post is dedicated to one of my friends on this site, @Jeonghan_lover! If my memory doesn't betray me, I think her fic is the very first Jeongcheol fic I've ever read here.... so basically she is a reason why I felt so deeply in love with this couple **cries. Therefore I'm gonna mention some of her nice works today. Let's say they're my top 5 fics of her, written this year, 2019. Either completed or still in progress, I really hope you guys can give them a try if you haven't.... and don't forget to leave some comments because I know that's a great encouragement for the writer.

1. One sided love

I think the majority of her readers would agree this is one of her most successful books! Among a lot of her fluffy, romantic fics, this fic really stands out because of the great pains and angst it brings. Forced marriage theme and unrequited love as the title says, the story mainly focuses on the development of Seungcheol's character while Jeonghan stays consistent with his love towards his husband till the end. You may find the plot a bit cliche and probably you will be angry because Jeonghan forgives Seungcheol too fast but ISTG his words will melt your heart, "Because I love you, Seungcheol". The feelings are so real and you will love the way the author describes them. Beware of mpreg; if you don't feel comfortable with it, consider before reading because that's not a small case here.

2. Royal love

Another forced marriage book following the success of One sided love. Jeonghan is still that weak and helpless wife while Seungcheol is still cruel and heartless here - wait, maybe not, seems like he's just NOT aware of how his heart slowly changed for Jeonghan. I really love Jeonghan's role there. Although their marriage is totally forced and none of them wants it, he still takes care of his husband a lot while he could always ignore him, for example when Seungcheol was drunk and sick. I especially like the there too, like it unintentionally shows that Seungcheol actually still cares about his wife and he does have a soft spot on him too!

Unfortunately, this fic is currently on a long hiatus :(. I really hope the author can find her muses and continue with this fic in the near future, I have a feeling this is gonna be a huge bop just like One sided love when it completed.

3. Lost memories 

There are a lot more about this fic further than what lies in the title. Of course, it's a memory-lost book! Seungcheol and Jeonghan are lovers until an accident happens and casts away Seungcheol's beautiful memories of what they have had together. It's time to get them back with the help of Seungcheol's sister who is also Jeonghan's friend! I think some people said they didn't like the sister because she was careless sometimes, but spare that girl, she only means good! What I find most romantic in this fic is how Seungcheol forgets Jeonghan but he still remembers every sweet thing they did together, like magic! Just say his love for Jeonghan was too big that he started to carve everything Jeonghan did into his heart **sobs.

This fic is still left unfinished but we can tell how it's gonna end already, so you can try it anyway. Beware of the mpreg tag!

4. Living with a criminal 

This fic is soooooooo underrated *cries a river. I mean you rarely find anything with this plot these days, it's old-skool! The storyline is based on a movie as the writer stated in the descriptions, you can also watch it if you have time. Don't worry about the similarities because there is almost nothing to talk about! Okay, maybe very few scenes in the first few chapters because that's where she got the idea from, but that's all. Mafia/criminals theme at its best! Anyway, I should be straightforward to say this, I'm kind of disappointed at the came too soon. The romances between two characters haven't fully developed yet when they did it so it's a little bit rush, especially with Seungcheol's role, you may feel like he just wants to release his desires towards the pretty boy. Not many feelings are included there so well, I don't really like it.

But put it aside, you will soon find the story really really interesting because of the number of secrets it holds throughout the story. You will keep asking yourself what is a lie and what is the truth. The author slowly reveals them so don't worry. I'm just so sad that the last update was a few months ago and I don't know she will continue it or not, but I hope she does because the fic is going to its peak and I'm waiting to read more Jeongcheol romances and what lies within Seungcheol's past :( I think many of her readers love this fic too so let's encourage her to continue, ok!

5. Two years of hope

This is her most recent work, also my most recent favorite!! Jeonghan_lover is quite famous for her hotty ty stories but she does have some books in PG-13 too, such as this one. This fic is more of a rom-com work, and prepare for a lot of drama too. It's mostly about Jeonghan's broken heart after the boy he loved got married but coincidentally he met Seungcheol and his heart was mended up again. I really love Jeonghan's character in this story, he is really thoughtful and selfless *omg what an angel*. He has a lot of worries himself but he always puts his friends on priority. Anyway, this fic is tagged with Jihan and Gyuhan but don't worry because it's still a Jeongcheol fic, no cheating, no ! Seungcheol and Mingyu keep bickering over Jeonghan but their small fights are rather cute ><. It's an on-going work, the writer is updating it quite fast so let's give her more love for this book too.

I know this writer still occasionally receives criticisms and harsh words for her bad grammars, misspelled words and wrong expressions, even her writing style too. Rather than criticizing, I guess it's better to tell her what she is still lack of and give her time to improve her skills. It's her hobby, why can't we feel grateful because she has actually tried her best? I'm thankful just by thinking her works have drawn a lot of fans into this fandom (just like me), making Jeongcheol a stronger ship :). So let's support her works!!
