« Malàmalangue » or when people kill the language

As you probably don't know, my first language is French and I live in Quebec, Canada (the French province of Canada). I've always been really good in French writing and it just comes to me naturally. "This is how the word is supposed to be written and it only makes sense when written correctly" is how I think, whatever the language I'm reading/writting/speaking. It just amazes me how people can KILL their own mother language!

How can "je veus" look right when the right way to write it is "je veux" !? It's like writting "I wand" instead of "I want"! You're supposed to see right away that there's a mistake!

I know, French is supposedly a hard language because of all its grammar rules and whatnot. But seriously, can't you just, like, at least learn how to use basic grammar!?  For your own language!?

It does really annoy me that much to see stupid mistakes. I try to stay calm and take it on the joking side, but sometimes, I just want to ... I don't know... maybe Avada Kedavra them? x_____x

And that makes me wonder... how does other people from other countries see their own language? Here in Quebec, French is a bit precarious: we're surrounded by English, we're the only ones in the whole country that has French as first language and USA has a big influence on us. We've been fighting for our language for hundreds of years (since we've passed from french colony to english colony) and now, people my age can't write well, use a lot of English when speaking. (example: Je work today. It's not even French anymore.) They  also don't care for French in general, but get upset if an immigrant can't speak French here in Quebec.

So my question is: how is the situation of your language right now? Do you fear for it to disappear, swallowed by other cultures around?

I know, this is random haha. but guess what? I'M random! 8D.
