i've been wanting to say something, a lot of things, regarding lee hi's comeback for a fat minute now because this girl is my most favorite soloist, but do yall hear sumn???

my BIHI/HANHI heart. revived. resumed. long lost, but never gone. hahahahaha. 

(for real though, the comeback is wonderful, the song is a merciless BOP, and lee hi really proved herself to be that one and only yg princess. charisma? she got it. her album? i bought it. my wig? gee thanks, she snatched it.)

this collab was so needed.

she's done music videos and live performances with many yg artists, but i've always thought - aside from that let it go remix stage they did, why hasn't hanbin been in any more collabs with her?

i've written so many drafts of bihi and out of all of them i've only released one back in 2016 (a chaptered fic that i ended up returning to the dungeon of drafts again because i couldn't bring myself to commit - i'm not sure if any of you remember it but i'm sorry to the subs who never got a second chapter!) 

watching that live performance of no one had the SAME energy of awkwardness and politeness as that one yg family concert with gangnam style playing in the bg, when hanbin put his arm around her before quickly taking it back a second later, and the too brief interaction leaves hayi really confused. the first no one stage made me laugh, the two of them seem to be still socially walking on eggshells. maybe it's just always refreshing to me whenever i see 3rd-generation yg idols awkwardly interact with each other.

hanbin also posted a full row of his precious memories with lee hi content on his ig—looking back at their past mix & match stage—and it makes my heart flutter. i'm so in love w/ the moments they had on that show. 

i guess i'm reaching, but we gotta admit, they are cute. i hope you hanhi shippers haven't faded with the wind yet, because i'll need your hype with me! haha.
