Good afternoon all people here on asianfanfics. Actually scratch that since it might me the middle of the night for some people. I realized that it has been close to five months since I have joined asianfanfics and yet have not done a single blog. So bear with me as I introduce myself. Hi my name is Zoey. Vague... ok Hi my name is Zoey A... better.

Well I have been into K-pop for a year and a month now and officially am a fan of k-pop (considering now the majority of my I pod is Korean music). This all started out for me when I friend of mine introduced me to k-pop last January after being introduced to it herself. Back then she and I would introduce each other to new things we get exposed to and get each other into it. Well the first song of k-pop I listened to was Ring Ding Dong by Shinee. And it took a few minutes but I started to like it. She showed me a few more songs by them that day and put videos on her I pod to show me how they look. At that time I started to like the maknae, because (a) he was within the same age range (we are both 93’ers) and (b) because I loved to dance and he was the lead dancer. That was at first glance… later on after I started doing my own looking into them and started to like all their songs I realized that my bias changed without me knowing and there I was put into confusion. It was my friend and her friend that rescued me from that confusion and since July 2011 I am an official MVP’er.

Now if you think that shinee is all I listen to then you are wrong. After the first couple of months of listening to shinee; well first I should tell you something about me and my family. My family all has their own individual tastes in music expect for my two youngest siblings (yup I’m the oldest) and we live in the GTA area in Toronto Ontario Canada. So we are very much exposed to a lot of cultures. Well we decided to head to little Korea and then Chinatown one weekend. I was pretty much jumping for joy in my head. We split up and did our own looking around. Me with my little sister (who would let me go anywhere I want). So at that point in time Dream High was still a big deal (still is now) well I saw a poster of it and got interested. When I checked it out at home and watched the first episode. I fell in love with the milky couple. :) Wooyoung and IU were like the cutest thing. So I decided to go on the Wikipedia page and found out they were singers. One thing lead to the next and I became a hottest and a IU fan. With me being three groups’ fans, I slowly started to branch out and looked at groups who were related to them. Thus I have around 200 K-pop songs… ranging from H.O.T to chocolat. And groups like 2AM and SNSD and MissA I became fans of quickly. But in spite of all of this I am still a shawol and look very much forward to their comeback. Hwighting!!!
