Appearance — standing at 164 cm for 49 kg with originally long, silky and wavy black hair, but recently changed her hair color to ash brown for new year. Her eyes are black that made her more intimidating than she intended to be. She often wears contacts or eye glasses since she has problem with her eyesight. She also used to wear dental braces to make her teeth more aligned and straighter. Her face is on the round side with little puffy cheeks. She also has a 3 mole on her neck that forms a triangle like shape and side of her ring finger on her right hand. A birthmark on her left shoulder that has the shape of a crescent moon that serves as her asset.
style — Her style depends on her mood that is why it is really hard to predict her outfit of the day. If she feels like dressing up girly, she would wear dresses with flats, skirts, high waisted shorts, tanktops with blazer and heels , if she's feeling boyish, she would wear pants, oversized shirts (usually her brother’s clothes), shoes, caps. When in school, she often wears pants and coats. But during her trainings she would wear comfortable ones, ofcourse she have to! It's hard to move when wearing tight clothes okay? When in terms of bags, she usually use shoulder bags, backpacks, slingbags. But not handbags or clutch. She'll use clutch or handbags when necessary but expect an argument with her first before she use it.

"I'll tell you the difference between a bit naive and incredibly fcking stupid" : she doesn't sugarcoat anything, and tell you straight from what her brain been thinking the whole time, she doesn't care if it turns out to be an offensive statement or not. And most definitely the cause of her getting in trouble more than your fingers could count.

"I'm sorry my eyes keep on sweating": this girl's emotions can be easily triggered. She cries and laughs over small things. Her favorite movie is Me before You. She watched the movie hundreds of times already to the extent where she had memorized the whole script and yet she still cries.

“Nothing I do will never be enough”: Yeosin is the kind of person who beat herself up if she did not get the result that she was aiming for. Her being a perfectionist started as a form of defense mechanism against her parents’ expectations.

“Life itself is a haphazard, untidy, messy affair”: She’s . . . . very untidy. Contrary to her composed posture, her room looks like a storm and a tornado passed by at the same time. Her clothes are messily folded, school papers scattered on her desk and so on and so forth. She said that messy room helps her concentrate in doing her school works and she can easily find things in a messy state

“Beauty may be dangerous, but intelligence is lethal”: She talks with formality in her voice and an aura of a lawyer that makes people somewhat tremble especially those who do not know her personally. She’s been named as the walking dictionary among the girls due to her excessive knowledge.

"Because she ran away from the ball.": She is known for her dorky personality, which entails strange laughing, and overall funny faces and gestures. She's willing to set aside her image for a little fun and not minding if she loses her composed posture.

background — Kim Yeosin was born and raised in the small city of Changwon in the province of Gyeongsangnam, South Korea. Her family is currently residing in Seoul due to her parents’ line of work and to let their three children have a high-end quality of education. She is the eldest among her siblings and is expected to follow the footsteps of her parents in becoming a lawyer in the near future. Growing up, Yeosin has been exposed to social issues thus she became fond of engaging in social debates concerning local, national, and international issues. She believes that if you have a voice that can be the voice of those who are unheard, never hesitate to use it. Passionate about her stand that women should never be seen as inferior to men, she aspires to be an advocate of a program that establishes a society of empowered women who are given equal opportunities in economy, education, health, and culture.

Yeosin is currently enrolled in Seoul National University and is majoring in Political Science and International Relations. Her love for music started when she joined the university’s choir, which was suggested by her dorm mate and also a member of the University choir, Yiseul. She was the first person to ever hear Yeosin’s singing voice once when they were studying for an upcoming exam. Yeosin has picked up the habit of singing when concentrating from Yiseul, herself. Since then, Yeosin has been joining singing contest, most especially during the university’s founding anniversary. Music has been Yeosin’s way of relaxing and calming her nerves after going through mock trials and stressful preparations for her exam and the continues nagging of her parents. She also once considered transferring to the college of music but because of being afraid of becoming a disappointment to her family, she decided not to do it and to continue her present course while doing the things she loves, making music. She landed her first ever audition after she had taken her final exam during her first year in college and that became her first step in becoming an idol.

▪ Kim Byung-Ho | Father | Prosecutor | 8/10 | Being a prosecutor, her father is hardly seen around their house and often found in his office in Gangnam. He may be intimidating but he sure have soft spot for his children, especially to Yeosin since she's his only princess. He realize how he's been controlling his daughter's life when he first saw her cry in front of him begging him to let her do what she wanted.

 

▪ Lee Chan-Ri | Mother | Human Rights Lawyer | 8/10 | For Yeosin her mother is the most hard working woman she has ever known, she got most of her personality from her mother. People say she also got her features. The mother and daughter relationship is a little bit distant but not to the extent that they don't talk with each other due to her mother's busy schedule.

 

▪ Kim Sung-Hyun | Brother | student at Seoul Foreign School | 10/10 | Her crackhead brother who enjoys sports especially soccer but in music. Heh. They often stay in their rooftop to talk about their day or anything they could come up just to forget every stressful events that happened. Their bonding moments mostly consist of walking around the park or the mall or sometimes do an impromptu hiking.

 

▪ Kim Jin-Young | Brother | student at Seoul Foreign School | 10/10 | The most mature out of all of them despite being the youngest. He's the most quiet but also most caring, especially to his sister.

▪ Hwang Mi-Hee | Band member | singer | 8/10 | Mei was the first person who befriended her in Starship Entertainment. Since then they are always seen together but despite the closeness, there are times where Yeosin still finds it hard to open up with her.

trainee years — Two years and three months
trainee background — Yeosin was on her first year in college when she was scouted by Starship Entertainment during the university’s annual music festival. She was one of the contestants at that time courtesy of her dorm mate and best friend, Jung Yiseul. Starship Entertainment’s scouting representatives are present as the event’s judges for that year’s singing contest. She may not win the grand prize, but the representatives have found potential in her thus having the decision to invite her for an audition that will be held the week after the said music festival. But Yeosin declined the offer saying that she needs to focus on her studies first considering the fact that her first ever mock trial and final exams are approaching. Regardless, the representatives have given her their business card just in case she changed her mind. After her final exams, without the burden of failing in her first year she decided to shoot her shot in Starship Entertainment perhaps it is time to do things that she really wanted. Thankfully, she was accepted and she’s never been so happy. However, when her parents found out they’ve been so mad but eventually started to accept their daughter’s choices when they realize that she’s really passionate about the things she’s doing in one condition though. And that is if she continue to study law.

 

Trainee life is much harder than she thought. Sure, she enjoys singing and dancing but with additional academic to worry for? I don’t think so. For the past months that she’s training, the thought of dropping out keeps on popping in her mind but every time that she thinks about it, the smiles and laughter that she shared with her co-trainees made her realize that if they can endure all of this, then she can do it too. She’s willing to do anything to make her family proud and to make herself truly satisfied with what she’s doing. She’s willing to do everything it takes to prove everyone that she will make it in the music industry, that she will make her debut.
