► Human Form : Sijian has dark brown medium length hair that he usually brushes up with his fingers. Has quite a fair skin despite the amount of time he spends outdoors. He is tall and lean (186cm and 70kg). His ears are a bit pointed. Has unique honey yellowish golden irises and also has 5 piercings in total; two on his lobes and one on his left ear helix. And the feature that distinguishes him most as a Laguz is his wings attached to his back.

► Sijian is the sort of unenthusiastic guy who likes to watch clouds and take naps. He is naturally a lazy person and his inclination is to do as little work as possible. He prefers not to get involved in exerting activities, pretending to be busy or hiding away to avoid responsibility. A peace enthusiast, he does not like fighting, deeming it, as he does to most things, as troublesome. Others consider this as ironic and sometimes funny considering he’s in the army. When he is faced with the potential for conflict, he responds first by saying, "how troublesome” and then by trying to find some way out of it, either by pretending to be indisposed or even outright saying that he doesn't want to do whatever it is. Sijian is fully aware of this side of his personality. He even named himself "the number one at running away". In fact, his most commonly used phrases are "how troublesome" and "what a drag".
► However, when serious duty calls, Sijian has a strong moral compass and a sense of commitment towards his comrades. Even though by his own testimony, he lacks bravery, he will sacrifice himself and face almost certain death, for the sake of his siblings and/or close friends without a second thought. He’s super protective when it comes to his siblings. Even in the face of imminent death, Sijian still clings to his unwavering laziness as he’d describe death as a drag. Despite his lazy attitude, he is a skilled member with a high intellect and gifted IQ. His peers noted that he’s one of the smartest army members in the Hwail army, earning him a position in the advising council. ► Sijian was born into a happy family with an older sister, Yitian, in a village southeast of Hwail. They lived a blissful life until his mother died from a sudden heart attack. Though, Sijian was young, only a year old, when that happened so the event didn’t really affect him. However, his father fell into a slump and the next thing they know, he gets three Beorc women in brothels pregnant in three consequent years. They all didn’t want their babies, Ruihan, Yuxian, and Wenhan, so they left them with him. Seeing how much he messed up, he decided to take responsibility and took them into his care.
► Wanting to start a fresh, he moved to another village with his now five kids. In the army there, his father met and fell in love with a Laguz woman whom he dated for about two months before marrying her, surprising many people. When Sijian questioned his father about why he would marry such a domineering woman, his father responded that even the toughest woman will show her gentle side to the man she loves. Despite that, she was very understanding of what he went through and fully embraced his past and kids. With her, they had two boys, Haoran and Bohan.
► Throughout the years, Sijian got close to his half-siblings to the point he considered them as his fully real siblings and grew protective of them as an older sibling. He hated how badly and biased his father treated Ruihan, Yuxian, and Wenhan compared to him and his other siblings. In fact, he didn’t agree with most of his ways and ideals, especially one where all of his kids have to enlist into the army when they reach the age of 16. But until that time comes, Sijian got into things his father never liked like slacking off taking naps here and there and hiding around reading various books instead of combat training. When the time came and Sijian turned 16, he tried to talk to his father about him not wanting to join the army but he was persistent and threatened to send him far away had he not follow his orders. The idea of being far away from his siblings didn’t sound pleasing to Sijian at all so he unwillingly obliged. None of his siblings were able to escape their determined path either, so now 6 of the Li siblings are in the Hwail army.
► In the years Sijian spent in the army, he learned that the better you are at something the higher position you get and the higher position you get the more work you get thrown at you. So, he was determined to not showcase any of his skills to avoid getting much work, but that didn’t go his way when he accidentally interrupted a council meeting and proposed a better plan. From there, his intellect was discovered and in time he was added into the advising council as a strategist, which sadly for him means lots of meetings. And to his dismay, the meetings doubled after the decree was made and they went into war with Dalbyeol and Yul.

Just like any 13 years old, Bohan is a hyper, playful, and trickster kid. Often claiming that it's boring hanging out alone in the house, he tries to convince his older siblings to bring him along with them to the army bases by using his cuteness, which doesn't work with Sijian. If they refuse, expect to see a sneaky kid hiding around the bases causing trouble. So it's not an unusual sight for Sijian to see an army member dragging Bohan to him complaining about whatever trouble he caused. So Sijian would scold the younger then drag him out of the bases telling him to go play with the other kids in town.

► He shrugs. "He's an wanting to rid of our kind." He thinks back to the conflicts between the Laguz/Branded and Beorc, when his father enlisted him and his siblings into the army, and when he threatened to send him away if he didn't follow his orders. Sijian does truly believe in the army's purpose but he doesn't desire to be part of it. He just wants to go somewhere far away that's quiet and peaceful with his siblings. But that's but a dream, right?

final words / I suffered with choosing a faceclaim so I used the other choices as siblings hahaha. Also, I collabed with Toomz and she included Haoran in her app too! Sijian is mostly inspired by Naruto's Shikamaru so you'll see the resemblance. Anyway, I hope you like him!

► Dramatic scene warning: Haoran gets taken as a hostage during one of the battles and so when Sijian hears about this, with his brother instincts, he's set to storm to Dalbyeol and get his brother back, whatever it takes. However, Sunmi and Hwiyun hold him back and tell him not to be irrational and that they'll get him back together. Later, both side's armies meet at the border and make a compromise, so Changkyun lets go of Haoran. And Sijian runs from their side to meet Haoran half-way. However, Changkyun doesn't keep his end of the agreement and orders one of the archers to shoot the boy. Sijian notices that, panics, and tries to quickly reach Haoran, but to no avail, he was too late. So Haoran collapses to the ground, bleeding. And by the time Sijian reaches him, he takes his last breath then dies. Then they either get into a fight or pull back, it's up to you. But one thing is for sure, after that, Sijian starts to get invested in the war, being filled with hatred for the Dalbyeol king.
► After Haoran's death, not being mentally stable, Sijian blames Sunmi and Hwiyun for his brother's death saying that if they hadn't stopped him from going to save Haoran himself he wouldn't be dead now. Guilt eats him up to the point that he turns the blame on others to lessen the guilt that he feels.
► Sunmi confronts him for his faulty way of coping with his brother's death and helps him get through it and in the process a romance sparks between the two.
► After Haoran's death, not being mentally stable, Sijian blames Sunmi and Hwiyun for his brother's death saying that if they hadn't stopped him from going to save Haoran himself he wouldn't be dead now.
