PERSONALITY : Jeremiah has literally no chill. He's savage and a tricky thing, using any means necessary to get what he wants. Sarcastic torwards people he doesn't like and everything that has to do with them, he isn't really the nicest person you'll ever meet unless he's after something or you're close to him. He definitely is a little unstable ever since Set's essence entered his body, having trouble with his emotions, thoughts and sympathizing with others. Sometimes, what he says or does won't make a of sense. You can't let this fool you however, because Jeremiah holds a lot of hidden strength. He's stubborn, bold and charming, striving on mastering and manipulating, and can have a brutal temper too. He is also spontaneous and unpredictable, he could easily tell you the eye color of some stranger on the street but can't remember if he drank coffee or tea, or one moment he could talk about something and the next do another thing. There is no telling what exactly could set Jeremiah off so those around him that don't know him might want to stay on their toes.

They've known each other ever since they met in Hearth and even if Jeremiah's nuts at times, Aiden somehow puts up with his shenanigans because they are like brothers and of course Jeremiah has to put up with him as well. )

BACKGROUND : Jeremiah Redley led a normal life for the most part of his earlier years and teenagehood, being the son of an avid explorer and a psychology teacher. The turning point in his life begun at the age of 16, when his father's fascination with Ancient Egypt brought the family to Cairo, on a vacation for discovery. At the ruins of a temple, there was a stone tablet with an inscription of the God Set. Unbeknownst to them, a group of black magic fanatics seeking to acquire Set's powers were in search of the artifact. Now, Set is one tricky and malevolent god but even he dislikes having his powers stolen by boring, foolish mortals who mess with what they shouldn't for cliche plotting such as ending the world. In order to prevent their goal, and because Jeremiah and his family happened to be the only visitors near the ruins at the moment, Set chose the young male to inherit his powers. By the time the thieves got to the stone tablet, they found it to be shattered. On the same night, Jeremiah started experiencing strange hallucinations at the hotel where he and his family stayed at. Sleep would come and go, as if he was waking up inside a dream then falling through another, none of which were very pleasant. In the morning, there was red sand through his sheets and on the floor, a sign that his hallucinations were becoming real. The chain of abnormalities continued with unintentionally causing his sister to faint due to severe dehydration when they fought over breakfast, lashing out at his father and triggering a sand storm, locking himself in the hotel room afterwards in fear that whatever was going on with him would get worse. Meanwhile, the group of men who intended to steal Set's power tracked the incident to the small family and followed them to the hotel. Back inside room 109, Set appeared to Jeremiah and revealed everything on how he's been chosen by him, that he shared his abilities and the thieves were after them. He warned him that they would target his family if he remained with them and that there was a place for those like him somewhere out there where he could go. When the men threatened his family and proceeded to break down the door, Jeremiah got out through the window and ran away with them chasing after him. As they were getting closer, he stumbled upon the opening into an underground tunnel, taking it as his only option to escape. On the other side, lay Hearth. Jeremiah still resides in Hearth Camp to this day and keeps in touch with his family. To be continued. . .
GODLY PARENT HISTORY : The Egyptian god of the desert, storms, and evil, Set's color was red. He became pharaoh of Egypt after killing his brother, but was later overthrown by Horus. After that, Set fled into the desert, where he controlled all the evil harsh lands outside the Nile Valley. Set wasn’t all bad, however. In the old days, he sailed on Ra’s boat and helped defend the sun god from the armies of the chaos serpent Apep. Set is usually pictured with red skin and the head of an unknown animal demon: part dog, part anteater.
