Seonghoon has been taught by his parents to live not needing to always rely on other people but to rely on himself. He does mostly everything by himself but isn't afraid to ask for help when he has no idea what he has to do. He can literally survive a normal life by his own at such a young age with next to no help from anyone. He is a born leader at such a young age and can lead a lot of people with no help from anyone as long as s cooperate well. He always takes chances and risks because he knows how success feels when the risks are enourmously high. Seonghoon is very much intelligent and knowledgable about many things but his intelligence plays a big role in his life when it comes to creating plans. This is the area where his intelligence shines the most. With enough information on hand, he would be able to devise a fool proof plan which makes him such a great asset. He is the social type who is willing to participate in activities with other people making it easy for him to get to know other people and possibly form friendships with them. He is good with words and has a lot of experience with people to know the right words to say to that person. He is very much a social butterfly and can converse with anyone regardless of their interests, he shows interest in the conversation by adding his own thoughts on the subject matter and even asking questions when it is about a topic he is not familiar with. He knows all the social cues and body language to know whether are person wants to continue the conversation or when they are ready to stop the conversation. Seonghoon is dependable but knows when to say 'no'. He doesn't intend on being a yes man because he knows that their are promises he cannot keep and doesn't want to let others down with false promises. He is highly productive when he starts doing something for someone and doesn't procrastinate whatsoever and always sets deadlines for himself.

Just like any notorious schemer he is quite stubborn when it comes to other peoples opinions. Whenever people want to try and change the plan he makes, he stubbornly disagrees and says that what he makes is fool proof and that there everything would go smoothly if all the requirements of the plan are met. He'll even try to win an argument till the end even though he already knows he is wrong, that's how stubborn he is. When someone tells him not to do something, he'll probably do it anyway but the context still plays a factor in whether or not he actually does what he is asked not to. Arrogance like no other. This boy wastes no time to show off the things he is good at. No shame at all. When people compliment him on his skills, he'll have this grin on his face and tell them that he already knows. He can't accept that he is wrong. He will go to extreme lengths to prove and explain that he is right and then brags about it. He seems to always question the abilities of others and usually asks them if they are up for the task and offers an explanation as to why he thinks they aren't. Finicky means someone who is overly picky or someone who obsesses with the tiniest amount of detail. He orders a "Double Ristretto Venti Half-Soy Nonfat Decaf Organic Chocolate Brownie Iced Vanilla Double-Shot Gingerbread Frappuccino Extra Hot With Foam Whipped Cream Upside Down Double Blended, One Sweet'N Low and One Nutrasweet, Ice, and two exhales of human breath(yes I exaggerated this part but only this part)" at Starbucks and you better get the order right or else you'd have a very fastidious(complains a lot) person. He knows how important the tiniest detail is and has been obsessed with this ever since that it drives everyone else crazy. He has the patience the size of a pea. He can't stand waiting in long lines, he can't stand waiting for someone to finish up in the bathroom, and he absolutely cannot stand traffic. He gets all grumpy and whines out loud for whoever was taking up his time to hurry up. Not to mention he doesn't really care how old you are when he tells you to hurry up.

His family is known by a few to be thieves that target large and usually corrupt organizations to steal from. Their entire fortune is built upon 3 successful missions with his parent's crew. Their crew consisted of his parents and 5 of their friends who was exceptional in different areas. They were geniuses and made sure that they were never caught and that the crime could not be traced to them. They enjoyed the rest of their life exploring the sites and having the rich lifestyle before deciding to settle down in a nice home in Seoul. Years pass they finally have baby and named him Seonghoon. Now this maybe because of his parents but Seonghoon grew up to liking magic tricks that require the swiftness of the hand and misdirection of the viewers sight which is usually the skill required to become a thief. They didn't spoil him as a kid instead they taught him to become independent by letting him do things by himself and praising his efforts. Growing up his parents start to see that he had inherited traits from them. Him being a social butterfly and good with words comes from his father who was really good at socializing with others in order to keep them distracted. His intelligence came from mostly his mother but his father highly opposes that idea and says it comes from him since both of them create the plans together. The more they observed their son, the more he grew up to be just like them but with his own uniqueness as well developing his own traits which his parents did not possess. 

He grew up pretty normally, his parents each got a job but still stole occasionally. They kept it a secret from their son that they were thieves since they didn't want him to grow up like them. Well his mom didn't want him to grow up like them because she wants him to have a happy and normal life, his father on the other hand did want his son to also have a happy life but also wanted his boy to be like his parents. Big time thieves.One night his parents decided to do another heist targeting another large corporation that is known for putting employees into slave contracts. They gather intel about the company, where they store the money within the company, the routine of each individual, and the placements of each cctv camera, and other important details before calling their crew to devise a plan. They were up all night discussing how they would get into the company vault and get the money out without being detected. It was frustrating on how close they were to cracking this plan. Seonghoon had awoken from his slumber due to the noise and sat by the staircase peering into the living room where his parents and their other friends were. They go over the plan one more time in full detail and Seonghoon hears everything. He then approaches the group with them all facing him as soon as he enters the living room. His mother trying to cover up what they were doing but he then states that he heard everything. His dad then jokingly says that maybe he could lend them some help since he was already up to which his wife scolds him for it. Seonghoon then looks at the layout and all the notes they placed and after a few minutes of thinking, he gives them his suggestion which surprisingly enough was something they completely overlooked and was the final piece to the plan. One of their friends commended him for his help stating that he does take up from both his parents. 

Seonghoon wasn't that surprised to know that his parent's were thieves because he had heard the slip ups that occured when their friends would come over to visit. He would eavsdrop and hear the stories of their successful heists. That night just confirmed it to actually be true. He didn't judge nor hated his parents because he too had urges to steal sometimes and now he knows where he gets it from. He talked about it with his father and they had a long conversation regarding these urges he has and that he shouldn't keep them inside. His father taught him everything he knows and even had some of his friends teach him more. And so ever since Seonghoon had successfully stolen something without a trace, it began to be his lifestyle. His father saw him as a natural and was so proud of him while his mother figured that she wouldn't be able to control him from doing what he wants just went along with it.

In his 3rd year of highschool, he had started courting this girl named Sorim. She was a complete gold digger but Seonghoon was too blind to see it. When they finally became a couple, she was super demanding and wanted all the expensive dresses and jewelry in which Seonghoon took note of and stole accordingly. He was completely "inlove" with her that he didn't see that she was just using him to get all the fancy things she liked. Time came when her family had decided to join the Empire. Seonghoon was devastated hearing this. He knew he couldn't get in the empire since he was human. It was hard being separated from her but he vowed that he would come and see her again when he got the chance.

Years passed and mother had passed due to illness and his dad had gotten arrested because he got caught during a heist and was sentenced 10 years in prison. Seonghoon lived on his own ever since. He visited his father often and talked about his life. His father was mostly telling him how sorry he was for putting him in his situation and for not being a better parent. Seonghoon understood his father and told him that he shouldn't be sorry and that he forgives him.

Seonghoon tried to live a normal life by getting a job but for some reason he always gets fired. Every job he gets into always ends up with him getting fired and it was frustrating because Seonghoon had no idea why he was getting fired since he wasn't doing anything wrong. Seonghoon still had those urges to steal and wanted to suppress them in fear of being caught like his father but there lay in a display case was a very shiny necklace with diamonds embedded into it. It became a habit of his but he had already estimated how much the necklace costed. He gave into his urges and formulated a plan to take it. In a week or so, the necklace was gone from it's stand and was now in the hands of Seonghoon. A smile resting on his face as he had felt the adrenaline and thrill of theft. He had promised himself that this was the last heist which ultimately failed when he had robbed more jewelry stores and now his urge to do something big had finally appeared. He had called his parent's friends and informed them about his proposal. It was a necklace made entirely out of diamonds. They argued that maybe he was just going through something with the recent death of his mother and arrest of his father but when he mentioned the share of each person they immediately froze. The father's closest friend came forward, smiled and asked "So what's the plan?". Long story short, the heist was a success and all of them got their share which would support them for life with all the money they got. 

Soon enough news about this expensive necklace being stolen had spread and even on TV. His father saw the news and smiled knowing that this could have only been done by his son. The following day Seonghoon visited his dad and they talked about it but in such a manner that they weren't explicitly saying that his son had stolen something since guards were all around them. His father expressed how proud he was and revealed that his mother and him had their eyes on that necklace for the longest time but it just seemed impossible yet their son had proven otherwise. His father told him to always be careful so that he doesn't end up like him.

Seonghoon went home that night and was surprised to see someone sitting in his sofa. The man introduced himself as Gongchan. He told Seonghoon that he knew who he was and what he stole but assured him that he wasn't a cop and that he wasn't going to turn him in. He just wanted him to join Haven because he believes that he would be a great asset to the group with his skills. Seonghoon knew about Haven due to some rumors but didn't actually think it was still up and standing. Before he could even deny Gongchan's request, Gongchan had showed him all the cruel things the Empire had done to humans and what would happen if Empire continued to rule. The words were enough to get Seonghoon to join but just to make sure he stays, Gongchan showed him a picture of someone very familiar. It was Sorim but she was different now for she had been turned into one of the creatures. Seonghoon nearly shed a tear after seeing her image, he still saw how beautiful she was even though she looked slightly different now. Gongchan knew how to play his cards right and that's how he was able to get Seonghoon to join Haven.
