HI LOVELIES. It has been a hella long time since I've been on here.  Just a quick update, the last time I wrote a chapter was when I was a junior in high school. I am now a Senior in College! My writing skills may or may have not improved LOL but I am currently trying to keep up with internships and my last year while trying to plan out a new story or a continuation of a story.

My name is Thuy Tran and I will be running for Miss Asia representing our motherlandddd Vietnam!  Why I Want to Compete in Miss Asia: As most Asian Americans, I did not have any pride of being a Vietnamese American. I went to school with little to no Viets so I never really shared my culture with someone that I could relate to. I avoided speaking my language because some have commented that it sounds, "Weird," "Ugly" and later mock it // Refused to wear ao dais during my early teen years because some said "you look so old like a granny". Some of you may even know me as "Tae" because that is what I changed it to because "Thuy" sounded weird. oooooooo sis. Not anymore.

After being involved in a hugeeee Vietnamese community, seeing people wearing beautttttiful ao dais, and speaking Vietnamese to each other with no holding back, it made me... Happy. Having people come up to me saying "thuy/twee" because that's how it should be. It gave me a sense of belonging and to embrace my roots :) And that is what I want to show on stage. ALL SERIOUSNESS ASIDE: If you choose to support meeee, I promise to cook some pho with a side of Vietnamese slang lessons ohoho A STEAL? Might as well banh mi because I have yet to learn how to cook overall. hhhu booty flatter than a banh xeo but my heart bigger than a banh BAO.
