NAME Ko Yeoji (코여지)

Kora (코라) - Her stage name in Lumiere.
Diva (디바) - As soon as she had an arguement with her trainer eventually everyone knew she wasn't the rest of the "fighters". She was someone who could garner scandal, and create interest in the group. She was a character indeed.
Uneducated Maknae (무식해 막내) / Saekki (새끼) - SM Entertainment were right about her "character" little did they know she'd get hate for it. People call her out for being stupidly childish and selfish about herself only. On top of that, her frequently disrespecting her older members is not helping the issue at all. Some come to her defense comparing to other "divaish" idol, however these normally get debunked or chucked aside. Although this is an unpopular opinion as most just view it as humour.

APPEARANCE Before she debuted Yeoji was really just your middle-schooler. In puberty suffering from heinous acne, having huge growth spurts and starting clean yourself up to become a woman. She was naturally dark-skinned, but skin whitening fixed that up right away. She had straight black hair and resorted to tape to create the illusion of a double eye-lid.
STYLE Yeoji is extravagant and feminine. She always wants to show of her lean figure. So she usually avoids jeans and sticks to shorts or preferably dresses. Even when its cold. During dance practices she likes to wear her branded stuff (which always make the staff upset because they always have to tape her clothing. She is always wearing something that'll make her stand out from the rest of the crowd no doubt.

There isn't much difference between Yeoji and Kora. In fact they are more closer to being the good and the bad of what makes up Yeoji as a the side that makes everyone fall in love with her occasionally bratty antics but hey, shes young! The one that is observant enough to see if a friend is not feeling too good and immediately tries to comfort her.
But once Kora goes away you are left with the side of Yeoji that Kora doesn't want to really show. The side with the highest interest of being only herself, the side that is willing to to daring risks that no one would see coming. The one who isn't directly mean, but in her selfishness seems mean. The one who takes things to an extreme point where their is no coming back. The one who just wishes to be in the spotlight, and everyone only praises her, no mean comments. The one had a really bad fluctuating self-esteem because in her life, she was quite lonely.
In full circle. She is not that bad girl, she is not the sassy talk behind your back type of girl. She is a girl who's hold her interest in herself, and knows that the world is cruel to those who don't understand that. But its her self-indulgence that is her uprising and her downfall.
BACKGROUND
Yeoji was an intriguing addition to the family. Might be because she was the youngest sibling but also because she was the exact opposite to her brother Ko Joongji. While Joongji was very much so a black and white person, Yeoji was the definition of someone who was the rainbow. She always had changing interests, from dancing to acting, to soccer, maybe back to acting, to singing, you get it. Her parents could barely keep up with her ever changing demands, but did because they say something in Yeoji. She was a passionate young girl who seemed to have her head screwed on, especially when she was doing something revolving around arts.
People generally hated Yeoji. She was selfish and was self-indulgent, in groups she'd be the one to slowly take charge and eventually make it about her. But you couldn't fully hate her, why? Because she had a way of resonating her message with the audience no matter what she was doing whether it was dancing, reading poems, acting, or it was just a painting. In the arts world, Yeoji was a miracle, a gift that's only seen in people who write legends. But no one could break down her walls of "me, myself and I.
In school, she didn't really talk much, but when she did she was everyone's second best friend. Her charm drove her way through schooling, except when dealing with teachers - that didn't go to well in her favour. Schooling was never her favourite, neither was group work. Her self-indulgence drove people away, well to put it simply: she didn't have a lot of friends. Sure she was charming and was so observant to see through people, she couldn't push past those first barriers. People complained about her being only so involved with herself. Not being humble and fierce competitiveness made people uncomfortable around her. It did make her sad, just a bit; but she brushed it off, she has to make it first before she dwells on those thoughts.
Her self-indulgence gets worse. On the 3rd of March 2014, her mother passes away. Now Yeoji was particularly close to her mother as the only other female. They did a lot together. Her mother was a successful business woman in the eyes of Yeoji, she ran a famous nail salon in Goyang, she wanted to be like her mother. It was her mother that taught her one thing in life; In a selfish world, only the selfish succeed. In all fact, it was Yeoji's mum who shaped like she is today. So when her mother past she realised that her mother's guidance meant more than it should. She told herself by years end she is going to be a star. A great big shining star. Someone who has millions of people adoring right? An Incognito of the fact she was lonely. So by the beginning of 2015 she became a trainee under SM Entertainment.

TRAINING YEARS 3 years.
TRAINING LIFE As soon as she hit Middle school she knew she HAD to go to SM. It's where all the stars go to debut. All Idols who debut from SM get really popular so she's no different. On the audition day it was obvious that her charm fueled her performances, her stage prescense was steller. She was accepted pretty much just from her natural ability to perform.
But then training began and things changed. Her technique for all things, dancing, singing, rapping was flawed, especially against all the other trainees. Sure she looked good and sounded good but the trainees instantly noticed she was a "faulty system." Everyday she'd hear it all; "You are not improving" "Yeoji focus!" "Yeoji we will drop you if you don't pick it up." And would she have a word with it too, a very emotional, angry word with it. She was one of the only trainees brave enough to fight with the trainers. "I am doing my best, your not improving me!" "I came here to be a star, and you're teaching me nothing." Admittedly this behaviour would get someone like her immediately kicked but there was still something. Out of all of them, she may not be the best technically but she was the best performer. Her stage presence was even better than some idols. In the eyes of the higher ups she was a key player in the game so they let her stay. Which instantly annoyed the majority of people.
Some girls admired her, some completely hated her, but like in school she was everyone's 2nd best friend. She didn't really have anyone notable in her training period. Not until she was drafted into Lumiere. From the moment she was chosen it was obvious she might've been one of the more lacking member, but the member with the strongest stage presence out there. So she was placed as Lead Rapper.

REACTION TO BOYCOTT It was, surprising. Yeoji knew fans would be devoted but not be so devoted to not even buy their own album. Do they not realise its killing her revenue? But even seeing it wasn't making it into top #200's through streaming, she knew something was not at all right. This isn't idol hood, this isn't even SM idol hood! What she thought was a luxrious life crumbled in front of her. The life she promised herself, she'd get. Eventually the thought of jumping the ship before it sank became prominent. If the 3 former EXO members could do it, then so could she, right? Maybe she could go under a smaller company, get popular and garner attention for being "the failed rookie under SM". Maybe not be an idol at all? Why not be an actress? Acting shouldn't be hard, it's just copious amounts of lying? It wasn't until a long hard talk with her older brother that convinced to stay with her girls. And that was perhaps the best decision in her life.
RELATIONS
LUMIERE MEMBERS
The Lumiere members are perhaps the closest people she's ever had, other than her mother and brother. Being a relatively sized group it felt cozy for Yeoji. With some of the other girls she might of had some sparks of fights, and a tad bit of disrespect for the eldest member. Yeoji will always battle for the loudest in the room and will fight for her way with dinner, tv shows and what not. She is not afraid to speak her mind, even to the leader.
MOON JANGMI
Jangmi is possibly one of the more clingy members in Lumiere. Does Yeoji mind? A bit, but there's something sugary sweet about the gullible unnie that makes her just be overwhelmed with "just let her do it". Jangmi and Yeoji haven't necessarily clashed, but Jangmi is the damage control from most of them.
KO JOONGJI
Yeoji has an air-tight relationship with her older brother, never before has Yeoji been close to her brother, it was really until she became an idol. Joongji would always try and swing by the dorm to see Yeoji and the other girls. It was Joongji that convinced Yeoji to stay with Lumiere with the boycott, and just genuinely not be a b*tch to her fellow members. The two can't really communicate because of the idol life, but when they can meet, they'll try.
