You look like you're about to cry!" Ami just smiles widely back, "I'm great! Sorry, that's just my face." she replies as she rests her expression once again, this time curling her lips slightly.
 
She's known for her smile. Warm, bright, which got her the nickname "Sunflower," which also came from the bright blonde hair she had sported for almost a year.

On-Stage “Persona”
Charming, sweet, a little ditzy, y but in a “pure/cute” way, bubbly. Girls think she's fake, guys love it. always ready to perform, doesn’t have the most stage presence in “fierce” dance songs, but give her a ballad and she can take your breath away. Is very good at memorizing and delivering lines, but really bad at improvising. (For ex. She can say everything concerning promoting a song/album, but ask her an unscripted question and she needs five minutes to think of and elaborate an answer) 
 
Off-Stage Personality
Introverted people-person. Very friendly, dorky, can talk your ear off if she’s close with you, and if it’s a subject she’s passionate about. However, small talk and meeting a bunch of new people all at once tires her out quickly so sometimes people think she doesn't really live up to the carefree, cutesy image she portrays on-stage. She isn’t a huge risk-taker, and she doesn’t often initiate trouble-making, but she’s always up for a new adventure and will follow along if you pique her interest (even if it means jumping a fence or two). 
 
Ami was actually really shy when she was younger, didn’t have many close friends, and mostly kept to herself. If a teacher ever called on her in class she would freeze and her mind would go blank. However, put her on a stage and she absolutely excelled! She attributes it to the fact that singing, dancing, rapping, acting - it’s all *rehearsed* and if she practiced hard enough she wouldn’t make a mistake. She wouldn’t call herself a perfectionist, but she would always try her best and was not fazed by mistakes as much because she knew she gave it her all. Her deepest anxiety was not having enough time to be ready. Some people call her lazy, but she just loves her rest-time -- especially as it gives her the energy to deal with (coughsstupidcough) people. 
 
Because she trained for so long and especially because her younger sister debuted before her, she struggles with a slight inferiority complex and low self-image. However, she always tries to encourage others because she understands the struggle. The other less experienced trainees would often come to her for advice because she’s “the nice senior.” Not to say that the others aren’t, but the others were usually stricter and more blunt. Ami is a peacemaker and always tries to pair a kind word with her constructive criticism. She does not get angry easily, but when she does, everything that has been pent up inside her will come rushing out all at once in a raging rant. One of her biggest pet peeves is people being late and although it seems like something not so huge, it’s often the tipping point for when she has had enough.
 
BACKGROUND
Born in Tokyo, raised in Seoul, Ami is a city girl through-and-through. She prefers the busy streets over the calm of nature, though she does enjoy a walk through the park now and then. Her dad is full Japanese and her mom Japanese-Korean, so she’s only a quarter Korean. And although she loves Japan and going back to visit often, because she lived more than half of her life in Korea she is more at home there. Has one younger sister whom she’s very close with, would consider her a best friend. She got into showbiz after Ami, but debuted earlier. Of course, Ami is a little jealous, but she’s also super supportive of her sister.
 
Ami loved performing and while she wasn’t quite into sports, she loved learning all types of the arts. As she grew up, she learned hula, ballroom dance, calligraphy, flower arrangement, piano, guitar, sewing, painting, yoga, acting, modeling, belly dancing, taiko drums, and an array of other things. Some only for a few months, some for years. Throughout it all, the thing that stayed constant was that she was always singing whatever she did. Whether it was accompaniment to her piano, or singing along to the radio that played during her flower arrangement class, she could not contain her song. Because of her love for performing, her parents decided to encourage her to audition to be a trainee. Ami readily agreed, thinking that it would just be a year or two tops, just another experience to add to her growing list, but she found she could use everything she had learned so far as an asset in being an idol, and under the training and mentorship of Dylan Choi she developed an even greater passion for performance.

One of the older ones, Ami is also one of the longest trainees. She was very shy at the time of joining, and so didn't have very many friends. By the time she felt comfortable to break out of her shell, most of the trainees her age had already formed their own "cliques." She was bullied the first couple years, but her love for her art kept her going. And then, Bree joined. Their personalities and looks seemed quite opposite, and in the beginning they clashed. However, it was through their differences that they realized they made a great team, and were often grouped together because of it. They became quite close over the years, and bonded over their similarities (yoga, sense of justice, and insecurities, etc.) She eventually outlasted most of those that bullied her.

Accused of cheating, unfaithfulness, some even speculated that I had a child, but everything was just rumors. 
-Met with Kei alone because he was having trouble with his boyfriend and needed comforting and advice. Papparazzi caught us hugging, accused once again of cheating on Yixing this time.
-Media constantly pitting Kiyomi & Asami against each other. They had a sibling spat once - it was probably something really stupid - and people started making up crazy conspiracy theories, thought they were basically going to disown each other. 
-Former bullies during trainee years who gave up on Predisposed and joined an "easier" company, debuted early, and failed early got jealous & just tried to stir up some controversy. Spread nasty rumors.

ELABORATION
Yixing is not the first one that catches your eye, but he has a quiet strength, and a kind heart which can cause anyone to fall for him. He doesn't steal the spotlight, but given the chance, his dancing and sweet lyrics are completely mindblowing. He always has a nice word to say about someone but is very good at motivating and inspiring others to be better, to reach beyond their limits, and he supports and advises them throughout that process. 
Because he is so nice to everyone, he sometimes doesn't realize that what he does may come off as flirty, but he's just a very genuine, kind person and expects the same of others.

HISTORY
Kei had become a well-known photographer, and had worked with quite a few idol groups, including EXO. Their producers took a liking to his photography style, and hired him for an album shoot. On the day of the shoot, both of Kei's assistants were unavailable (sick/family emergency) and so he called in Jaehwa and Asami to help out since they were familiar with how he worked and his equipment. The EXO boys themselves took quite a liking to the girls, but Yixing especially was quite taken with Asami. 
 
Now Yixing, is not one to be too agressive, but he knew he couldn't just pass this girl up. Sweet, and straightforward, he approached her with his name (as if she didn't already know), his number, and an invitation to have coffee with him sometime. Things went on from then so smoothly, Ami felt like she was in a shoujo manga.
 
Some relationships start as friends, but there were clear sparks from the begininning with these two. Because of their busy schedules, they went on a total of 3 dates during the first 3 months of knowing each other. However, they messaged and called each other almost every day. They talked about everything from favorite colors, to education, to the meaning of life and everything in between. They both felt chemistry, but wanted to take things slow at first, making it official after 4 dates & almost 4 months of knowing each other. 
 
Ami wanted to keep the relationship secret for as long as they could just because of her trauma from her last public relationship. Lay understood, and he didn't really care either way whether it was secret or not. 
 
They rarely fight, but when they do, it's rarely an actual fight. Rather, it starts with Ami getting angry with Lay about him being late or him being too nice, and ends with apologies from both, promises to do better, and I love yous. He struggled with his past girlfriends about him putting work above his girlfriend. However, Ami knows better. She knows that he would be busy, that he wouldn''t have too much time for her. What really hurts her is when she feels like the little time that he promised her, he doesn't keep. He ends up being too nice, helping someone else out, and cutting into that time with her, which leaves her feeling like she's not important or special to him. Obviously, that is not true and what hurts him the most is that she doesn't trust his feelings for her. However, they have a strong, trusting relationship and they always try to talk things out. 
 
INTERACTIONS
1st Date: Cute cafe where they both ordered tea, karaoke with kpop, jpop & cpop, and the warmth of his shoulders pressing against hers as they sat close to each other on the subway home.
 
2nd Date: Aquarium, sitting close watching the jellyfish, an intimate dinner, a hug goodbye. 
 
3rd Date: A coincidental meeting. Outing with Kiyomi, he called Ami's name from behind, a quick chat, she whispered in Ami's ear, "He's cute! Good luck~" before running off while claiming she had"errands to run." Rapidly beating hearts, and shy smiles over dinner. 
 
4th Date: A quiet park, a beautiful sunset, a confession, a kiss. 
 
"Hey, my angel" He blushed, but flashed a dimpled grin. 
"Hello, my love" she replied, as their fingers intertwined.
 
"Again?  Do you know how stupid I feel waiting and waiting for you, knowing that you aren't coming? You say you'll try and do better, and I believe in you, I foolishly trust you, even though I should know better by now. 
"Ami, I'm sorry. Things went late, and I was helping out some juniors with--"
"I know, I know. Even so, what about me? You always help out other people, always being kind to other people, always putting other people as your priority. That's one of the reasons I fell in love with you. But, what about me? Why don't you treat me like that? Am I not a priority? I'm your girlfriend, don't I get to be a little selfish with you? ...am I not important to you?"

I hope they'll have a happy ending! They've really tried to make their relationship work despite busy schedules, malicious media rumors, and the pressures of being in the spotlight, ontop of regular relationship issues! I'm not sure how far you're going (like marriage?), but marriage is definitely in the future for these two. She wants to marry earlier, him later, but they're both sure that marriage is with each other.
