appearance. minji can be easily described as a korean beauty, thanks to her pale skin and her big eyes. With her petite frame and her long black hair, she often seems to be a manga character, and the fact that she puts little makeup make her almost etheral. But don't let you fool by her beauty, she likes to take care of her skin and her hair. She is a small potato, only 160 cm, but it emphasis her cute charm. Thanks to her years of ice skating, she is also thin, but who says ice skating says scars, and if you look closely under her right eyes (just under her layer of bb cream) you can see one. She loves seeing colorful hair, but sadly (and because of her concept) she lets her hair black. She likes to style it at home, but at school or in the streets, when she does not let them fell in her back, she prefers more common hairstyle like a hair bun or a ponytail. She has other scars that she prefered to hide, just on her right hand (and that she prefered to forget). She also has a ear piercing that is very discreet and that is usually hide by her long locks.

She has a hard time putting her feelings into words and can feel overwhelmed by some feelings of stress or anger, and keeps everything to herself, just like a clutter diseaster. Since she is really compationate and empathic, she is also really self-sacrifying, and always put others first and this can be really dangerous for her and her mental health, and always feel llike she does a lot for the others but that they take her for granted. The fact that she feel she is always taken for granted came from the fact that she always need some kind a validation from the others, she needs to hear how great she does, how wonderfull she is, but she will never say it out loud, since she has a very low self esteem. background Born in Jinhae, Minji almost spent her whole life there, until the accident. With her older brother and her mom, oh! and right her dad, minji spent a peacefull childhood, with her older brother and her mom who works in a neighbourhood kindergarden, while her father was serving the country in the army. Because of his job, he did not see his children grow up, and he regrets that but he refuses to let that fear takes the best of him, so when he is at home, he tends to spend his days with his wife and his son, while Minji always avoid spending some times with him. Why ? well, when you spent your entire life earing your father compared you to your wonderfull older brother, earing "you should do this just like your brother" "why don't you follow your brother's steps ?", you kind of want to avoid spending your time with him. She does not hate him, she just feels misunderstood. Because of her father, she stops ice skating. The reason ? "It takes too much of your time, Minji, you can use this time to revise just like your brother". Ice skating was her passion, and she hates the fact that she has to forget it because she wants to hear her father says "good job Minji".
In her former high school, she uses to be friend with Jung Sooyoung. She was nice, maybe too nice, and did not attack back her bullies, until the day Minji did. That day, Minji came back at home with a red mark on her right arm, that it still visible if she does not hide it with her sweater or some makeup. When her mom saw her daughter crying, she immediatly went to her high school to confront the group of girls who harrased her daughter, but sadly, this worsed everything. Minji's life became a living hell, until the days she decided to tell everything to her older brother and he encouraged her mother to move to another city.
This is how Minji became the new girl of this seoul high school, and this is when she discovers her. pARK Sooah. She is everything that is not Minji. She is popular, really pretty, confident, funny, loved by everyone, well perfect, and, right, she is her older brother new girlfriend. Minji loves everything about her, and her self esteem was so low back then, that she decided, she will become just like Sooah. Since that day, she does everything just like her, she tries to style her outfits the same way, she wears the same makeup, she has the same phone case, the same shoes...
Right now, Minji is considered quite popular thanks to her pretty face and her (almost) fake personality. She does not fake her personality, she just imitates everything that sooah likes, she likes cats, just like her, she is close to wang Taewon (sooah's old crush), just like her, she is in the photography club. no one has noticed this yet, but one day, everything will explose at Minji's face, and that day, how will she reacts ? will people reject her or do they will help her to finally let herslef be the real her .
lifestyle. every monday after school, she has her english class with her tutor, and after these two hours, she usually goes back home. Every wenesday, after school she waits for taewon because of his basketball practice. The weekend, she wakes up early and, again, looks at sooah's social media, looking if she bought new clothes or makeup, then she updates her own instagram, and spends her entire saturday mornings taking care of her skin and hair. The afternoon, she either spends her time with her group of friend for their homeworks or just to have some good times, or she spends her afternoon alone, buying the makeup products that sooah just bought. love story. Minji and Minjae met for the first time at school. This little extra boy almost throwed the basket ball at her face when she was waiting for Taewon, and since that day, Minji feels like she always sees him everywhere, when she arrived at school, when she left school, when she eats with her friends at the refectory, everywhere, always laughing loudly with his friends. the first time they talked to each other was when her english tutor asked her to help one of his other student who was, surprise, kim minjae.
During a whole month, every friday night, the two of them met at a cafe near their school and Minji helped him with his english lessons. The first weeks, everything went fine, he was serious and quiet, but always seemed really curious, asking her some questions, if she has a boyfriend, if she likes someone, if she likes basketball... Minji was a bit embarrassed at first but she always tries to be anwser with something neutral. Little by little, minjae lightens up and always tries to make Minji laughs or something, he just wants her to be more confortable, and this cute little boy falls in the famous case "oh no I have a crush on my tutor".
At school, everytime he sees Minji he waves at her, screaming "hi Minji-noona !", or he always puts some strawberry milk flavored with some little snacks on her desk with a little note, always the same "take care of you noona" with a cute smiley face. Even if she refuses to admit, Minji finds it very cute and she likes having someone doing all these little things for her. With times, when Minji stopped tutoring him, they became friends, and Minji always tries to talk to him when she sees him when she waits for taewon, and she always gives him a little water bottle before leaving with taewon.
One day, after that his team lost a basketball match, Minji found him in the school yard, agasint the wall with watery eyes. It was a shock for her, for the first time, the little Minjae (who is clearly taller than her) who is always laughing, and happy, was in front of her trying to contain his tears. She sat next to him and said nothing, waiting for him to slowly open up and finally crying his fears. He told her how hard it was to always being happy, to always smile when you just want to be alone, to always being consider as a joke when you want to be serious, how hard it is to be consider as just a good basketball player, and not as a simple highschool, with dreams, fears, that he is not only good at basket but also at math and science but no one knows that because everyone assumes he is just a basketball player, He tells her that everytime he has a bad grades, people are always telling him that it doesn't matter, because he will surely go to an sport university so his grades aren't important. Minji somewhat recognizes herself in his words and she apologizes to him, feeling guilty that at first she saw him like that.
They talked to each other for a very long time until someone (jihye) interrups them because she was looking for Minji. That night, they also talked a lot through kakao talk messages and Minji finally feels like someone really understands her. Since that day, the both of them became really close, and Minjae always tries everything that is in his power to help Minji to have confidence in herself. One day, Minji suddenly after a basketball match (that his team wins), Minjae was waiting for Minji outside the school and he invites her to drink something at the little cafe where she was tutoring him, to thank her, and well, minji falls in the typical case "oh no I fall in love with my friend"

At school, everytime he met her, he cutely waves at her and helps her to carry her books to her class, before playing with her backpack's badges. He is still a kid in his head, so he loves teasing her about stupid things like her "boring" personality or her bad jokes. Minji either pouts or just punches his arm telling him to shut up.

At the basketball practice, when Minji talks to him she always tells him to take it easy or he will have some aches but he always smiles and tells her that he is invincible.
