1. what is your life purpose/goal?
I don't think life purpose can be seen as a goal. My goals are divided into two: short term, and long term. I wanna be global team management team for my short term goal, and have my own business for my long term goal. But my life purpose has nothing to do with those goals. My life purpose is to live my life to the fullest and pushing myself to the limit. I want to keep improving myself. My life purpose is to be a better version of myself everyday

2. What's your dream / what do u wanna be?
I wanna have my own business and make a new employment instead of being employee. I wanna be a person who can contribute more to my environment.

3. Do u think your answer in poin 2 will accomplish your life purpose?
Maybe (?) My life purpose is not something quantitative. There is no metrics or formulas that can calculate how my life purpose achievement. LOL. But, the thing is, I believe that I want to do something good. And if I can do good today, I must do better tomorrow. Life is a never ending journey, isn't it?

Anyway, I've gone through what you feel right now. What I learned from my experience is: keep going on. Some people are lucky enough to know what their passion / life purpose since early age, but the rest of people find their life's purpose through many experiences. If you want to know what your life purpose is, I believe you should do everything whole-heartedly. It won't be easy. But I believe you can. If you do everything whole-heartedly, one day, you will finally understand what you really want in life.

I just asked my mum and she said, I'll quote, "Your life's purpose changes as you grow, first it might be graduating, then get a job then the list might change as the person grows. The purpose is not limited to tangible things, you know. It can be to attain moksha-salvation-, go on a pilgrimage, to help others around in attain their goals ... Anything. My own goal, when I was your age was to make a gold necklace, now, it's making you and your brother are well educated and independent in the society. It depends on who you are as a person and what the Almighty decides you need to see. Ultimately, before you close your eyes, He will have guided you to your destiny."

As vague as that might have sounded, I think she might be right. We as a person, never remain the same, everything that happens in our life leaves an impression on us both in bad and good ways. It's who we are as a person that makes what we do in our life. So, if you can't find what your life's purpose is maybe, you haven't had 'the enlightening event' in you life yet.

I'd say it's best to wait and see where your life takes you, you never know what happen next.

As for your repetitive life routine, it'd be because you have lost your views on things. Like for example, you said you work, play and sleep.. something your student self would have hated. Start by remembering things you always wanted to do but couldn't due to circumstances, then see if you can do them now, or just explore the possibilities life now offers to you, travel around, get to know the place you live in, hang out with friends and family make them a priority, get to what your high school friends are upto, try to awaken your creative side, do something out of your routine everyday.

Instead of sitting around getting discouraged, go and try things out. If you can't figure out on your own, maybe talk about it to people you look up to. Life can get dull sometimes, happens with me too, but it never remains dull or I don't let it remain dull, because someone wise once told me, "if someone ever made a bollywood movie on my life, it should be a blockbuster hit." This is one of my dreams as well.

Just because your life is getting repetitive, thay does not mean it's not worth the trouble you are taking. May be you aren't living it right. Again explore, you'll figure things out in your own pace. That could in itself give you your life's purpose.

I don't know if you understand what I'm trying to say, but I hope you figure things out and start loving the life you live.

Finally thank you for writing this blog, because I think I realised what I actually should be doing now. It made my thoughts somewhat clear.

Thank You.
Good Luck.

I've always imagined a vision like idea of the lifestyle I wanted to have at different stages of my life. My dream is to be able to live the life I've always dreamed of, I guess.

As for life purpose, I don't think I've thought much about it. I'd say it would be the basics: Looking after my parents -I'm from an South Indian Orthodox family and the eldest kid, so yeah-, Make sure my sibling is happy and well, You get the idea..

No, I don't think my life's sole purpose would be to support my parents' and sibling's life. My life is my own and it's purpose will surely be related to me. I know that sounds selfish, but that's how it's going to be. My life's purpose -which I hope to find soon, after I've committed my early twenties' mistakes- might be something that gets me satisfaction and happiness not in just the materialistic terms but even in intangible terms.

Yes, supporting my parents' and sibling's might get me satisfaction now, but I think there might be more to it than just that. I'm not sure to be honest. I just like to think that as I grow older and once I've 'seen the world', I'll understand what my life's purpose would be. For now, these might just have to do.

1. I don't really have a life purpose/goal except living life..

2. I don't know what I want to be because there are too many things. My dream would be to live a good life (not go hungry, be poor or die too soon) I guess

3. Not really, because just accomplishing something like a phd/master or getting a good job doesn't mean I'm living (like living life to the fullest) or enjoying life, I'm simply alive.

Well, just because your daily life is so repetitive doesn't mean it isn't worth living. If you want to continue like that, then ok but if you want to change and do something more, maybe something you've always wanted to do.. then go for it! But then.. for me sometimes I thing like that but I realize that there are many simple moments in life that make me feel better about spending my life the way I am. Just small things like hanging out, laughing with people, remembering good moments, going outside to enjoy the cool breeze, etc.. things like that make me appreciate my life more.
