So, yesterday, we started our vacation. So, our first stop is at a hotel in Libertyville, IL. We thought it was nice, but found out it's not. Our floor has both smoking AND non-smoking on the same floor. That's the dumbest thing a hotel can do. The whole point of non-smoking is so that people don't have to deal with smoke. We are non-smokers but we have to smell the smoke in the hallway. It pretty much reeks of smoke. Poor design for this hotel. I told my mom that while on our trip I won't be picking this hotel chain again. Not to mention the bathroom door wouldn't close and the beds along with the pillow were TOO soft. My mom and I were tossing and turning the whole time. We are sitting here waiting to check out and our noses are stuffed because we can smell the smoke coming under the door from the hallway. I gave the hotel a bad grade for many things. 

I've been in four hotels last year and NEVER had to deal with smoking rooms.

Oh well, maybe the next hotel will be better. I'm hoping the next hotel will be better.
