Description:

While Ahn Jinjoo is busy tending to her own friends' problems—like Sorim's secret crush on their friend Donghyuck who is practically their brother, and an even weirder event where Donghyuck was dating Jinjoo's younger sister—her own problems come rushing to her when she finds her heart fluttering and her senses shutting down at the sight of a handsome classmate named Jung Jaehyun. Maybe Jihye and Doyoung are the only problem-free persons in their group?

Excerpt:

Jihye’s widened eyes made Jinjoo drink her banana milk in complete discomfort.

“Okay, now, stop staring at me.” Jinjoo said timidly. “I’m already embarrassed.”

“Of course, of all people, Jung Jaehyun is the one you’re interested in.” Jihye repeated.

They were at the back of the school cafeteria, and Jinjoo took the moment to tell Jihye about it when Sorim was summoned at the student government office for a short meeting.

Jinjoo put her hands over Jihye’s mouth to shush her up. “Can you shut up, now?”

“You haven’t told Sorim yet?”

“No…” Jinjoo answered faintly. “I’m still shy admitting it. It took me a lot of courage to tell this to you.”

“Yeah, but she’s going to throw a fit when she learns about it in the future. ‘Jihye knew and I’m the only one who didn’t know!’” Jihye imitated Sorim’s high-pitched and dramatic voice. “Remember the camping incident?”

“Of course…”

“And back then it also involved your crush in elementary school.”

“But back then I was humiliated to tell her because she liked that boy before me! You know, girl code. It was like I was betraying her.”

“She likes every boy she sees!”

“Not the two knuckleheads.” Jinjoo replied, referring to Lee Donghyuck and Kim Doyoung.

“How do you know?” Jihye had her eyebrow raised with a smug look on her face.

Jinjoo quickly caught up and gasped. “No way…”
