personality.  
no doubt, seri is often under the impression of an amicable, adorable person. her large, round eyes, shining with hazel appeal, and soft rosy cheeks decorated her pale complexion. despite such kind exterior, the female is realistically an icy cold and untouchable human being. the air which she gives off is often hair-raising, spine-chilling, and blood-curdling. 
the words that come out of are often unnerving and conspicuous. a little less than vulgar and slightly more than devilish. more often than not, the other party is torn into shambles, rarely hanging onto the last of their pride. (though they're mostly filled with shame by this point in time.)
but despite her tough and unbreakable appearance, she is interiorly extremely self-critical and easily embarrassed by every little thing. when distressed, in order to keep up with the pressure of her image, she often lashes out critical words without a thought. though putting her spicy mouth aside, seri is a woman of action and would rather prove things on her own, as she is an exceptionally  competent woman, instead of being empty talk. overall, seri has a keen eye for detail and is rather passionate about things she's taken a liking in.

background. 
being the youngest child of four children, seri was spoiled rotten from the core and was often dismissed of any repurcussions or harsh words. she was extremely loved by her parents and was teased (in a loving manner) by her three elder siblings: her eldest sister, the second older sister, and the third child, her only brother. (who is coincidentally older.) she was raised in rather elitist schools and is currently taking business management as a university major. the reason to why she took this course was pretty simple: she had nothing else she wanted to do. seri wasn't an ambitious person or anything... she wasn't particularly invested in any hobbies to the point of pursuing it for a lifelong career and after consulting with her elder siblings and parents, she took business out of lack of other interest. but so far, she's enjoying her major, looking down at people, receiving top grades in class, and discussing about the economic trends and whatnot.

trivia. 

– gourmet coffee drinker. seri often tours around the country with her elder brother, (who also likes coffee), to find the best coffee brews available. they also tend to hunt down for unique and antique shops which gives them the luxurious feel of experience.
– business management. after debating over going into science or law, seri finally settled for business due to realising that she had potential within such occupation. she had a love for sales and despite her actual character, seri is extremely proficient in customer service (she's good at faking it) (and buttering people up).
– anti-sailor. despite her brash words, seri never swears and would never hurt another person with such vulgar words. more than often, she prefers to be a little intelligent with her attacks.
– fixing her hair. in order to become an immaculate person, seri tends to brush about her appearance, ensuring that she is in premium condition to showcase herself to others. she often fiddles with her hair to set it to her optimum appearance.
– unstoppable thirst. always carrying a water bottle with her, seri's the type to drink steadily thoroughout the day in accounts to keeping her thirst in check. she gets sore throat on days where she doesn't drink as much so she's very concerned about the amount she's drinking.
– early bird. being an early riser, it is extremely rare for seri to wake up any later than seven due to her solidified internal body clock. she finds it undoubtedly hard to sleep in.
– on the go. seri's the type to be always doing something instead of laying on top of her bed all day. she gets bored easily and therefore needs to find some kind of entertainment to quench her thirst for adventure.
– fake smiles. to people whom she's not relatively close to with, she often serves them with a mask on. sure she's a brute, harsh woman, though she knows her place and will more than likely talk to you in an overly polite way, especially if it's your first meeting.

relationships.  

a) father :: jin sehoon (50) / chef / wishy washy, overly concerned, protective / being the youngest daughter, sehoon dotes on seri very much, to the point where it could possibly suffocate her. as the head of the family, he's not very strict and is often anxious over his children's agendas.

b) mother :: kang riah (49) / lawyer / concise, efficient, independent / in the past, riah often emphasised the fact that she wouldn't get married, nonetheless, have any kids. but after jin sehoon's five years of hard, stubborn pursues and falling in love with him in the process, she ends up marrying him in the end. as a mother, riah acts as the stricter parent with responsibilities of implementing right morals and understanding of societal systems.

c) first older sister :: jin miri (27) / lawyer / cheerfu, playful, childish / despite choosing to follow her mother's profession, jin miri is often described as a child due to her bright nature. she's always curious and will probe you until you give her the answer. as the eldest sister, she tends to hand down the responsibilities to seyo instead, choosing to have fun instead of handling the 'boring' details.

d) second older sister :: jin seyo (26) / designer / similar to their mother, hot-tempered, mature / the official 'leader' of the four children. she's in charge of taking care of the rest of the crew whenever their parents are away. seyo eludes an aura of a responsible adult. she likes to get things done right away and would more than often nag her elder sister for the little foolish things she does.

e) older brother :: jin yunha (23) / medical student / calm,  conscientious, warm / as the only son, anyone would think that yunha is favoured between the sisters. but in reality, the ladies would be such a handful that he would be promptly forgotten in the background. as seri was born, yunha felt a sense of responsibility to care for her and had been devoted to making sure his little sister is loved (unlike him). as a person, yunha is often described as serene and extremely polite. a husband material for any candidate.

indoor activities. 
+ black pork samgyupsal: eating the famous treat in the house, with the cast pitching something in to help.
+ on a rainy day: playing hide and seek, reading books, drinking makgolli while having a good chat with each other, playing monopoly.
+ pottery class: enjoying a day of making matching couple bowls to keep at home.

outdoor activites. 
+ jeju kimnyoung maze park: getting separated inside the maze and being reunited after seri climbed over the green hedge.
+  jeju glass castle: walking around the place and seri accidentally taking a picture of jaehyun while she was observing the glass.
+ eco land theme park: enjoying the scenery, with seri accidentally falling onto jaehyun's lap when the yellow train suddenly stops.
+ mount hallasan: hiking up the national treasure and enjoying the crisp air and scenes. jaehyun being entranced by seri's peaceful self as she stared into the distance, in a slack, relaxed manner.

personality. soft-spoken and reserved, jaehyun is often described as a peace-bearing herald with kind intentions. he's often submissive to decisions and would prefer to go with th flow instead of inciting a debate or create arguments. he doesn't often express himself and would more than often conform to the group mentality. he doesn't complain and is often described as being easy-going. with seri, jaehyun is very aware of her actions and still remember the traumatic events during middle school. through the program, he ceases his misunderstandings about the female and ends up listening to her bold speeches with pink tints and deep breaths.

love story. jung jaehyun and jin seri met during middle school. the both of them were seat partners for a little while in the second semester of third year. despite being in the same school for so long, they lacked interaction and seri was more than awkward in interacting with him. jaehyun was mostly soft-spoken and a pure soul. (seri wanted to protecc him.) but instead, she did the exact opposite. due to her erratic nerves, she could only have memories of herself insulting him or visibly looking down on him. she knew he was rather fearful of her and mostly stayed out of her way. regretting her attitude to him during the time (he really didn't deserve it), seri wished to apologise. she did try to do so during reunions, but jaehyun never showed up due to his celebrity status. in the end, she was starved enough to sign with the program and get a bit of enclosure with him. unknown to her, what she'll go home with in the end isn't only a feeling of self satisfaction, but maybe something much warmer.

interactions. 
+ seri the leader and jaehyun the follower. with his conservative attitude, jaehyun tends to go along with seri's plans and would constantly follow her around for things to do. seri, being the kind of person she is, often doesn't account jaehyun in the discussion and would more than likely skip over his preferences. (because, in her defence, he didn't say anything.)
+ whenever they're filmed. seri's mostly trying to act nice to jaehyun and the boy himself would be mostly surprised, trying to play along with her antics. she would smile more often, laugh, and even speak rather politely to him. 
+ behind closed doors. if it's just the two of them-- no cameras, people, or anything remotely close to civilisation around, seri would revert back to her original sadistic persona, often engaging jaehyun in a relieved sigh, "i'm glad you're back to normal." to which, seri would retort with furrowed brows and a red face, "hah?! what are you? a masochist?"
+ daily bread and butter. when she's nice, seri would actively talk to him and engage a meaningful and informative conversation, such as the thing she's researched about jeju island and such. whenever her mood is down, seri would treat him even more sadistically, sometimes borderline mean. in response to that, jaehyun's always wary, sensitive in formulating his response, but treats her in the same, plain manner, no matter how mean seri was. he was always respectful, slightly shy, and full of warm smiles. most of the time, seri would be embarrassed because he's so nice no matter how many bullets she's shot him with.
+ thinkin' about you. of course, at first, it's the normal insults and somewhat apologies afterwards with jaehyun's soft smiles and gentle reassurance. through the trip, seri realised why she was so adamant in treating him unjustly. unknown to her, her eyes would always follow him, and the red face, fast heartbeat, and the feeling of breathlessness... everything made sense. she liked him. maybe a little too much to the point where she can't really transmit her emotion into proper affection. through the filming, she becomes more and more mellow towards him, to the point where jaehyun's slightly frightful of her changes. but in the end, he realises her feelings and refuses her once, but regains a sense of loneliness the moment he does and goes, "wait... can you give me a little bit of time?"
