this day two years ago – february 11th 2010 – at this hour, a young man and a girl (yes, she was still a girl at that time) were preparing themselves to meet for the first time as virtual marriage couple. heart pounding, feeling nervous, couldn’t stop checking the clock ... until finally the young man’s eyes sparkled with delight as he saw the girl slowly entering the lobby through the glass revolving door.

they were married for 14 months. 397 days of memories.

I technically became their avid shipper on june 25th 2010 and how I wish I was with them since the beginning. they made every saturdays worth the wait, they made me can’t stop grinning like an idiot every time I watched their episodes, they made my heart burst with joy with their cute yet sweet interactions, and they made me cry so hard on the day they decided to end their virtual marriage.

“it was only scripted!” true, the missions and the outline of the show are scripted. but let me tell you something – their interactions were real. you could see it in their eyes and smiles – how they truly appreciated each other’s presence. he taught her to be comfortable around male and enjoy life more, she taught him to take better care of his health and more determined in his life. the choding husband and the determined wife – they complement each other.

I know their relationship IRL is merely platonic relationship, friendship relationship, colleague relationship, but I will always pray that someday they can develop their relationship into something more special.

happy 2nd anniversary, my dearest jung yonghwa and seo joohyun, my goguma couple, the youngest married couple in WGM history. I may have lost hope in you, but I will always love you and pray for both of you :)
