APPEARANCE: shiho is often described as an unseeming person to have lived in the darker side. she bore a mid-length soft golden locks and light hazel eyes. her complexion in general is very pale, coupled with her thin slender frame.
UNIFORM: her uniform is always worn impeccably, with fully buttoned up shirt, knee length skirt and proper enclosed shoes. there is rarely a wrinkle in sight and her ties are always on point, and never a wrong. despite the perfect attire, shiho feels as if she's encaged in the clothing and prefers to only wear the school blazer on compulsory occasions.

OUT OF SCHOOL: shiho prefers looser, breathable attire such as a soft, silk blouse with knee-length skirts; long dresses and sweaters. for detailed works, shiho prefers basic, single coloured items instead of additional frills and laces. simplicity is the key point to her clothings and anything less is more. (in her opinion.)
HERO COSTUME: shiho is equipped with a large band choker strapped around her vocal box. this allows her to enunciate words clearly even though her voice might be weak or small. the black choker like item contained a word recognition device and fibres which reads the vibrations made. a white, lower face mask (excluding the nose) is also used to protect her most vulnerable anatomy. the final design to her hero costume is a white body suit with invisibility qualities. (the body suit thing was a mistake on her part because she didn't quite specify what she wanted.) her belt is made out of a light-weight water tank. it does not actually contain water (to preserve the lightweight designs) and absorbs moisture in the air to turn into water (with the filtering aspects) when activated through a small switch, near the centerpiece, and is mainly used to combat shiho's dry throat. the center of her belt also contains a switch to receive some throat medicine (which is connected to her mask through a small tube [located in the inside of her body suit to prevent risks of damaging it] that acts as a dual vessel for water intake as well). the final part of her outfit ends at the foot. her rather flat shoes evolves into heels at the end of three strong stomps. these heels, although very plain-looking, are actually emergency tranquilliser guns. to use, shiho has to strip off the sole cushioning to access the trigger. it's stragetically placed in the middle of heels to ensure that the arch of the foot act as a protective barrier (so she wouldn't suddenly fire off at the ground).

THE CORE
REPUTATION: shiho seems like a reserved, lady-like figure in the class. she's soft spoken and sometimes would take her time to respond to questions. nobody had guessed that she was a villain before joining the class but most of her peers get over the fact that she was due to the rather soft impression she leaves on them. outside of 0-Z, she lives like any average high school girl due to the population's lack of awareness on her past villanous character. as a villain, shiho acted as a silent killer, leaving any scene without a clue and leading the murders to internal conflict or missing individuals. she was never caught once due to her immaculate way of leaving the scene. in the end, the one who tipped her location was herself.

HISTORY:
■ while her mother was still healthy, shiho used to live with her mother and her grandparents in otaru, hokkaido. she loved it whenever winter came and would decorate the buildings with sheets of snow and wonder. talks about her father and whatnot were hushed around the house-- but she didn't mind not having one at all. at first, everything was going well despite her mother rarely being home and having to work several jobs a day. she was under the care of her precious grandmother and grandfather who would showered her with love and affection. (as she was the only grandchild.)
■ she went through middle school well and graduated with high distinction, pleasing her parents and grandparents. they were all happy.
■ but then her mother fainted and work and was diagnosed with a disease.
■ she heard the adults talk. how her mother didn't want to burden her grandparents any longer, and how the doctor says the medical facilities are only available in tokyo. sure, the treatment and cure was possible. but the bills don't pay themselves.
■ shiho was scouted for the villain league just outside of the hospital, at a small back alley where she depleted a soda can into nothing.
■ she acted as a villain in otaru for several months before receiving enough payment to move her mother's treatment to tokyo. when her guardians questioned where the money was coming from, shiho couldn't look them in the eye and say a lie.
■ she's never killed a person before,
■ just hurting them to the point of immobility.
■ she told them to trust her and that she'd be supporting her grandparents as well while her mother is sick. shiho was so adamant on carrying the family's future that when they said that she'll be getting a pay rise in tokyo--

■ after being introduced to her first murder and so much more in the next coming months, shiho fell into a rather depressive and denial stage. she tried to reason with herself that what she was doing was unavoidable and that she would rather see others being killed instead of her mother-- but the guilt wouldn't wash away...
■ and so, she decided to turn herself in after her very last mission. she was driven up to a wall and experiencing things that no youth should do.
■ but then, her encounter with levi occurred and the game changed. she found light in the midst of darkness and a chance to redeem herself.
■ as levi's upperclassman and part-time mentor, shouto kept on hearing about the high school girl who comes to visit levi so often. he didn't mind that of course. (other than the fact that levi might be getting himself behind the bars for dating underaged girls.) he decided to take a visit to levi's office when he found time one late afternoon to find levi engaging in a verbal cat fight with the female student. and when she growled a little and raised her voice, "i hope you fall flat on your face!", levi took a plunge onto the floor, face flat.
■ in shock, shouto decided to scout her into the program after levi's (slightly irked) monotone explanation.

■ she has to verbally and clearly (she can mutter it under her breath or even whisper it as long as the words are fully formed. in cases where she's muffled, the words do not take effect as they do not form properly.) enunciate the command.
■ commanding words are different from the usage of everyday words. for example, saying 'hello' or 'how are you?' wouldn't trigger any kind of reaction. her quirk will only activate words like 'die' or 'sleep' instead. (practically, verbs are used (if she's directing at at a person or an object). e.g. 'burn', 'drown' or 'choke'. therefore, shiho's extremely cautious to what she says to another person and to avoid using her commanding words, she would write things down instead if she thinks she might slip-up somewhere during the process. texting is another way she'd communicate. these two method are used as she is able to freely communicate without the double edged sword of her quirk (as she needs to verbally say it.).

■ she can manipulate a person's words and will their speech towards her liking. therefore, if a person says 'i love milkshakes', she can alter their words to become: 'i hate milkshakes', or, 'i love watermelons', or 'levi loves milkshakes'. the person whom she swapped their words for are aware of themselves saying the wrong word-- but they cannot seem to spill out the real deal no matter how many times they try or how hard they mentally visualise the speech. this aspect of her quirk is restricted by a one meter radius influence. someone who's further than one meter away from her cannot be used for manipulation.
■ she can call forth anything and bursts of such matter or element is able to appear through her command e.g. water, wind, snow, fire, blood, metal, and etc.

■ to exert her commanding words, proxity relates to the strength of her quirk. the closer she is to the target, the more powerful her commands and its effects are. when engaging in long distance fights, she is only able to inflict minimal damage to them. this relates to the amount (and volume) of her words which are heard. the more they hear, the more it'll be effective. the less they hear, the weaker her effects are. if they cannot hear, she is not able to use any commanding words, but is still able to materialise matter or elements as attacks.
■ if there is no sincerity or genuineness put into her words, shiho isn't able to control words with outstanding repercussions e.g. killing. her quirk enables her to only end someone's life if she truly means it. her emotions play a big part in her performance.

DORM: shiho's room is mainly predominated with the colour white. other classmates have often joked it's due to her name's similarity with the colour 'white', aka 'shiro'. her room consists of a white single bed, a white bedside table and a white standing desk on the other side. she prefers it over a normal sitting study desk as she gets leg cramps if she sat down for too long. her wardrobe is an open clothing rack with a minimal selection of basic clothes.
EXTRA:
■ shiho's father had been forever absent in her life and she doesn't even know his name-- nor have she seen a picture of him. she takes her mother's last name and shares the same kanji for the latter part of her first name with her mother.
■ an avid tea drinker who dreams of opening her own tea shop in the future. (her favourite is green tea!)
■ learnt knitting and sewing from her grandmother and she's been doing that as a hobby ever since.
■ bad with technology as her family have never been able to afford such luxuries. so when UA gifted her a phone, she's screaming inside her mind for 911 and SOS so badly it hurts. (it was suggested by shouto (and levi) (he didn't want to admit) in order for shiho to communicate with her mother and grandparents. until this day, she's still out to get levi's phone number (he refused so badly-- furrowed eyebrows, swears and all.) (he's got a good excuse though. minors.) in order to compensate for rarely seeing him (sometimes he helps with training), she gives shouto neatly handwritten pastel envelopes to send to levi when he heads back to hq. (though heichou never replies.) (he reads them, nonetheless.) (whispers: it's his pride.) (oh! and minors.)
■ shiho still kept the jacket levi tossed at her the night they met. (she's still reluctant to let it go, especially since she's rarely seeing the man.)

THE ALLIES
IGARASHI MIHO
igarashi miho is often described as a cheery, energetic woman with a sturdy back and righteous morals and ethics. during her younger years, she was often seen to be on the go to various work places and had unconditional love for her daughter.
they are often mistaken as sisters due to miho's youthful looks. in the past, she had long hair which was mostly tied into a ponytail-- but nowadays, her hair is kept short and trimmed.
miho had always strieved to be the kind and loving mother in replacement for the absence of a father figure in shiho's life. she loved just twice as much and often encouraged her rather introverted daughter to be more open and outgoing.
she worked from being a hairdresser, to a waitress, a retailer, and more. miho often suffered from headaches due to lacking sleep and proper nutrition. more than being worried for her own healthy and safety, she is more sorry towards her daughter for leaving her home so much and having not spent much time together.
there is barely a day in the igarashi residence that the mother and daughter pair would fight or even argue. they often joke around and laugh heartily whenever miho's home.
TODOROKI SHOUTO
as levi's mentor and senior, shouto have teamed up with the former in many different missions in the past and knew the younger male quite well. the only person levi would ever dare ask for advice would consist of only shouto, showing the respect he has for the man.
shouto has also become a somewhat dominant father figure in levi's life. (and shiho's, in the near future.)
after being introduced to each other through a rather inquisitive yet coincidental meeting, shiho is now under the care of shouto and the rest of UA staff as the new experimental class.
through the years, shouto have become a rather warm person who has great patience in listening to other's worries and concerns while also giving out his share of noteworthy advice. shiho received just that.
he was also the one who convinced shiho's mother that UA would take great care of her while assisting in the financial area under the promise of her working under his wing in the future.

› levi's quirk grants him the ability to overmax his stats at the cost of his blood. the item he wields is also able to pierce through anything, including multiplied or non-tangible opponents if he is able to detect their core being.
› he is always equipped with a double sword to battle (though he mostly ends up using one) and wears tight-fitting military style clothing which involves straps and harnesses.
› being unable to reabsorb his blood back into the system, any blood loss which occurs would slowly accumulate to a certain point of pounding migranes, passing out, and ultimately death.
› the more blood he sheds, the redder his eyes go, and the more powerful he becomes. in addition to that, the more the opponent he cuts down, the less control he has on his own mentality.
› if he loses his own consciousness or sense of awareness, levi would have succumb to his killing instincts while becoming the ultimate killing machine at the same time. he would have no regards to who and how many people he has killed.
› the amount of blood he has seen has also resulted in levi's insomniac tendencies. he often awakes in cold sweat very shortly to falling asleep and often spends his nights going through his reports and staying on stand-by for emergencies. he is also currently seeing a psychologist to treat his traumatic experiences.
› to counter this, levi very rarely uses his quirks and prefers hand to hand combat or the use of his very highly skilled swordsmanship. (he also does mind and physical training without missing a single day). (the mind training is especially important in order to build resistance to his destruction point (and to prolong his quirk usage without harming any bystanders or fellow comrades).)

on the exterior, levi is everything a leader should be. capable, strong, while having a good head attached to his shoulders. he's reliable, efficient, and always loaded with different plans to go ahead with. he has a strong sense of morals and knows very well the line between right or wrong. in his opinion, he is rather 'soft' towards some people, breaking down the unapproachable demeanour he has in store. (this is his empathetic side speaking.) and while he is the undominated persona he is, levi has a clean freak label attached to him due to his obsessiveness with cleanliness. this might have stemmed from the traumatic side effects of his quirks, to the point where he'll see illusions of blood splattered all over the place. above everything, levi's character is mostly defined by his manner of speaking. he is often rough, vulgar and rather blunt with his words, which, coupled with his intensive stare, sends chills and a shameful sack of fear down a person's throat.

HISTORY: levi could barely remember his mother as a child, having been too young to contain much memories. he does though, remember sitting down at the corner of his room, watching his mother unmoving and very lifeless. the most prominent memory as a child was a devastating feeling of hunger and helplessless. but before he could fully succumb to death, his uncle arrived to his home, who ended up nurturing him until he was old enough to 'work for himself' and 'survive in this world'. before he was even a fully fledged adult, his uncle dissapeared on him, effectively leaving him on his own. his strong sense of independence stems from this occurrence and he's very neutral in concern to the aid of his uncle and the devastating ruins of his family. he does, though, have a soft spot for mothers and functional families as a whole. growing up, levi leaned on full scholarships and part-time jobs to suffice himself. he had gotten to the point where sleeping for a full four hours would be a good night's sleep to him. (due to the business of his schedule.) at first, he had no interest in being a hero, finding his quirk a pain in the to deal with. in the end, the last of his uncle was seen the moment he was called into the hospital to identify the dead body of his known last standing relative. feeling helpless, levi the most useless he had in his short years of living. there, he met the lead investigator who was in charge of the case. the male gave him his condolences and partly-assurred him that none of this was his fault. he told him that: "if you want to feel of use or needed, there is nothing better than being the one who reaches out instead." these words, to this day, is held dearly to levi's heart.
HISTORY: levi could barely remember his mother as a child, having been too young to contain much memories. he does though, remember sitting down at the corner of his room, watching his mother unmoving and very lifeless. the most prominent memory as a child was a devastating feeling of hunger and helplessless. but before he could fully succumb to death, his uncle arrived to his home, who ended up nurturing him until he was old enough to 'work for himself' and 'survive in this world'. before he was even a fully fledged adult, his uncle dissapeared on him, effectively leaving him on his own. his strong sense of independence stems from this occurrence and he's very neutral in concern to the aid of his uncle and the devastating ruins of his family. he does, though, have a soft spot for mothers and functional families as a whole. growing up, levi leaned on full scholarships and part-time jobs to suffice himself. he had gotten to the point where sleeping for a full four hours would be a good night's sleep to him. (due to the business of his schedule.) at first, he had no interest in being a hero, finding his quirk a pain in the to deal with. in the end, the last of his uncle was seen the moment he was called into the hospital to identify the dead body of his known last standing relative. feeling helpless, levi the most useless he had in his short years of living. there, he met the lead investigator who was in charge of the case. the male gave him his condolences and partly-assurred him that none of this was his fault. he told him that: "if you want to feel of use or needed, there is nothing better than being the one who reaches out instead." these words, to this day, is held dearly to levi's heart.
dawn remained silent as the old grandfather clock ticks away at a certain office within the heroes association building. a man stations himself at one of the wooden desks, eyes flicking through pages and pages of official documentation. he hears the softness of a knock, halting the nimble movements of his fingers, eyes fleeting at the doorframe, which gradually opened to reveal one of his subornates. "heichou, we've got an emergency mission."
the male sets his papers aside in a slick, neat pile, not a piece out of symmetry, before he grabs ahold of his jet-black outerwear and grunts in reply,
"ty brats."...
FIRST MEETING:
› the heroes association had been tipped off by an anonymous sender of 'the void''s location. levi had been one of the only viable pro hero available (as he was in the midst of completing his action records).

› they arrive to the scene fairly quickly as it hadn't been too far from the headquarters. with a few of his men, levi split the group apart to attack from both the entrance and the back alley in order to secure the target. he had handled the front ambush group when he overhears a few voices from inside the warehouse.
"did you think i'd let you go if you asked me nicely?" a cackle followed the provoking tone.
levi squints through the minimal opening available to see a group of people clad in black. in the middle, a female figure had been hanging off chains coming down from the ceiling.
a rather posh looking male figure circles the hanging female, strapped with tape and additional cloths. "oh darling, you don't get to decide when we're done with you. you see," he leans in awfully close, "i'm the boss around here. i decide it for you." he then takes the knife from the hands of his henchman, "you know we took pity on you because of your sickly sick mother and the fact that you grew up with no father? i'm sure she was a great during her younger days." he presses his sloppy mouth against her ear, "i wished i had a bite when the meat was still fresh."
levi's grip on the hilt of his sword tightens as he motions his men to stand back.
the timing wasn't quite right.
"since you did us great service, i thought of letting you off the first time you asked. i didn't laugh because we were chummy honey. i laughed because you were a joke. who do you think we are? we're not one of those charity houses for kids of to play around and leave when they're bored. we're villains my child. we don't do the whole nice thing. it's a give and a take. since you're wanting to leave us so, so desperate..." he pressed the blade against her thigh, "leave me a leg or two hm? sounds fair?"
levi's eyes continued to scrunitise the internal environment, gaze lingering on the countless bodies splattered on the floor like undigested raw meat and vomit. he tries not too linger too much on the blood, noticing that there was only a dozen of henchman around. they could take them on.
"at least when you're no longer able to walk, we can finally keep you forever. right darling? oh! and nice try in changing hospitals. we've got eyes and ears everywhere in this ty city. maybe just about now your mama's saying goodbye to this world hey?" the male grinned like a madman. "you'll see her again... in a few decades or so."
levi unsheated his sword as he watched the group being fully preoccupied with the internal conflict they were in. he jumped straight for the boss, one hand gripping the chain above the female's head while he jump kicked the villain head with an added twist to send him flying to the other side of the room. he taps on his communicator while knocking out the henchman with the back of his sword.
"a citizen might be in danger. alert the hospitals in the city for any kind of suspicious movements and to contact hq for assistance."
he dodged a kick, wounding another villain with a precise, immobilising slash. he then turns to perform one long to cut through the chains before returning to the battle.
› the villains were all rounded up in less than half an hour under levi's skillful command. they had even caught the bunch nearby with cars ready to evacuate. in the end, the rest of his team's busy with sending the villains to available jail spaces around town while levi sat down to grab a light smoke.
he hears a soft padding of footsteps heading his way. a figure sits right beside him and takes off the large hat.
"thank you."
levi takes a large sniff before exhaling, watching as the grey smoke dispersed into the nothingness of air.
"for what"
from his periphery, he noticed the black eye mask and the female's pale, slender fingers untying the ornament.
oh, a blonde.
levi drops his cigarette as his long turned head gazed at the female's soft features.
her warm brown eyes and luscious cherry lips.
"for saving me," she made eye contact with him, "and my mother."
levi stood up whilst crushing the last embers of flame coming from the cigar stick. he wasn't the type for these cheesy heroic sessions. it just wasn't his character. he was about to walk away when a hand holds onto the back of his jacket tightly.
"i didn't run away just because i wanted to thank you," he hears the shivering stumbles in her words. "i was the one who tipped this place. i murdered many people before. i'm the one who's wrong." and oh , the chick's crying. "please arrest me."
. how was he supposed to respond. he contemplated on running away from the scene the other hand grips onto the other side of his jacket. ah crap. abort plan.
"look," he turned around, effectively knocking the grips out of place, "i don't give two s about your sob stories." the worst decision ever. who the heck knows how to tame a crying woman. "i--" just in time to see her glancing at him with tear-stricken eyes and reddish cheeks. levi throws his coat at her, scratching his nape in a disgruntled manner. "you have a mother to take care of don't you? do something useful in life and make her proud or something." he racks his brain for motivational quotes.
with that, he his heel and parted ways.

he sees her twiddling her thumbs and shuffling on her feet, cheeks blushed. . he hopes she's not what he's thinking she is.

› levi wasn't into underaged kids at all. they all looked like babies still in diapers in his opinion. plus, they were a whole lot of to take care of. so, he refused.

heichou smashed his head onto the love letter as he left without another word.
› turns out, he learnt her name, birthday, age, past occupations, blood type, family, hobbies, school, favourite subject, favourite colour, food, drinks and a whole lot of bull over the next month or so. the pink letters never stop. and at one point or another, he starts finding them in his office drawers.

› shiho would turn up everyday, straight after school, at the same time at the base of the hq, waiting for someone to open up the door for her. (it needed an id.)
› everyone was fairly welcoming to her and teased levi a lot for having lolita es and whatnot. (they deserved the kick.) in the end, no matter how much he tries to get rid of her, levi would find shiho sitting at the edge of his desk. on good days, she would be honing in on her homework and being the straight a's student she was. on bad days, snapshots of his face would fill her gallery or sketches of him would be made.
"stop taking pictures of me, ty brat"

› has a soft spot for shiho's mother and would ask how she's doing on an occasional basis. when she asked him why he won't come visit for a change, he ruffles her head and walks off with a wave, with pathetic excuses like he needs a smoke or something.
› during her time at UA, shiho sends levi love letters through shouto (to which he never replies). but levi does come in at times to help with training (and you bet shiho's stuck to him like glue).
› shiho's mother is aware of her blatant crush towards the elder male. she often jokes when talking to shouto over the phone, asking how son-in-law is. shouto humours her, sometimes even in front of the said guy, leaving him to grumble in his seat. (he is also yet to visit.)
this scene occurred before shiho joined UA, it was another day of lazying about in levi's office. shiho was busy writing down various numbers and tapping her pen onto the sheet, irritating the life out of heichou.
"stop that"
"oh sorry, i'm just trying to count down to my birthday next year."
levi shares an unreadable facial expression, looking away from her with the slightest smile.
"stop looking at it. it's not going to come faster."
shiho smiles as she folds the paper away and into her pocket, "are you going to get me something?"

"huh?"
he was actually questioning her if she's serious about him getting her something. it's not going to happen. of course. yeah.

› levi doesn't actually dislike shiho. in fact, he rather adores her (in a very lowkey, tsundere way). during their first meeting, it can be noted that he actually felt something for her (something along the lines of her being his type of face or something). but he's very suppressive of his desires and shows very little affection (if any). he's very aware of their and mentions the fact she's underage multiple times a day.

shiho entered the blank room that had a simple table, two chairs, a video camera set on a tripod, and aizawa looking at you with a blank face. he gestured you to come over and she does so gradually, sitting down on the spare chair. aizawa gave a sigh before he began the interview, expression not betraying the want for this session to end as soon as possible.
INTRODUCE YOURSELF. "nice to meet you, my name is igarashi shiho. i'm seventeen years of age and my quirk relates to the use and power of words." she plays around with her fingers, rationalising her breaths, "i was engaged in villanous acts a few months prior to this engagement."

(the main point of this arc is: the quirkless getting quirks (even if it's useless); the useless getting viable quirks; and the ones with quirks ending up as quirkless.)
