Personality konna is bold in the sense that she is not afraid of trying new things. she is very adventurous and daring, so you'd find her getting all excited to try activities such as bungee jumping, parasailing, wing walking etc, if she does get the chance. she is also very observant. she focuses a lot when she talks to you and she'd notice the little things and actions that you'd do unconciously. she is also quite witty, never running out of things to talk about and is also very talkative. she's always the one making jokes and puns. konna is also very cheerful all the time, like a little sunshine, she makes the atmosphere very bright with her laughter and smile. 

she is however, quite sensitive and emotional. especially when she faces pressure or stress, she will cry easily. she hates situation where there are conflicts. which brings us to her next trait, she is very conflict averse. she hates conflicts and will say anything just to get out of it and then move onto something fun or light. she tries her best to avoid conflicts. she is quite a messy person as well. she hates doing chores and cleaning, she's so disorganized to the point that she loses her things easily. konna gets bored easily as well, she is someone who needs constant fun and excitement which is why she's always indulging in risky behaviors (like sneaking out in the middle of the night to catch a midnight movie or something).

Background jang konna was born on the 17 of dec, 1995 in busan, south korea. she has a korean father and a chinese mother. konna is an only child. growing up, she has had a interest in music since young because her parents are music teachers. at the age of 10 years old, she started attending dance classes. however instead of the usual girly dances like ballet, she love hip hop instead. at the age of 13 was when she started self composing music. with just a keyboard, she started making her own music under the guidance of her parents. at the age of 16, she was scouted by an entertainment agency as a trainee when she was out busking with her best friend. 

even though her parents love that their daughter has an interested and passion for music, they wanted her to have a proper music career, and not some member of a kpop band. thus, it took konna a long time to persuade them to accept her choices. they only started supporting her just before she debuted in Twilight.

— father / jang dong yoon / 45 / music teacher / typical father-daughter r/s, dong yoon spoils and love konna a lot. though he wanted konna to become a music teacher in future, he was a little reluctant to let her move to seoul to become a idol member trainee as he had heard the amount of hardship she'll go through and he couldn't bear that. however through konna's endless persuasion and her passion, he let her do what she wanted. the dad that tells all his dad jokes to his kid and the type to cry at his daughter's wedding. 

— mother / lee shi rui / 48 / music teacher / shi rui was a little more strict and disappointed at konna's decision to move to seoul to start her trainee life. she believed that being an idol has no future and she was angry at konna's decision at first. she only started letting konna did what she wanted when she saw how konna was so excited to debut in twilight. what matters was her daughter's happiness ultimately. 

— best friend / lee kaeun / 23 / after school member / kaeun and konna has been friends since young. they both attended schools together. it was when they were 16 then they were both scouted by pledis entertainment and so they moved to seoul and started their trainee life together. however, konna left the company to join moon entertainment whilst kaeun debuted as an after school member. the two are still close despite this.

Trainee years 7

Trainee life konna was first scouted by PLEDIS entertainment at the age of 16 years old. she then moved from busan to seoul to start her trainee life. it was also then when she just started high school and so she had to juggle between training and school life. however, after 3 years, she left the company and joined MOON entertainment. It was after she graduated when she joined the company so it made her training a little easier. She had got into the company by her dance as it was her strongest forte. After being accepted, konna started other trainings for singing and rapping as well. despite getting into the company by dance, she showed signs of being good as a rapper as well as she was able to write lyrics too. thus, she trained hard for this position too. konna also had extra work to do which is to write and compose several songs every week as a trainee too. this boosted her song writing skill a lot. this went on for the next four years before she made her debut in twilight.
