I am honored to be friends with such a wonderful family who is open to introduce to their culture.

They took me to Hariraya and witnessed how they they pray and give thanks. I learned the ceremonial ablution before attending Hariraya. I was able to wear an abaya and kumbong. I listened. 

After the Hariraya, we went to celebrate the day with a small feast with people all over the community.

I was happy to see how close-knit their community is. It never mattered who you are or who you know. We exchanged Eid Mubarak and hugged each other. When they found out who I am, they welcomed me without question.

I am glad I came to know these people.
