background jung hyunjin born on january 25, 1997 in seoul, south korea to a normal and loving family. he grew up around music, he basically breathed music. his father being an guitar instructor and his mother running a small music shop just around the corner. he started learning at a very young age, at age 6 specifically. his father started teaching him all the basics and then went through the whole process. hyunjin bein a 6 year old was very confused but he wanted to follow his father's steps on becoming a guitar professional. for his academic side, he was always on the average side, meaning B's and A-'s. he didn't bring home straight A's but his family was still proud of him.
fast forward to grade 11, he was basically a pro with the guitar but he wanted to showcase his skills and talent so he decided to open up a youtube channel. his parents were all for it, as long as it made him happy. he uploaded his first cover and it happened to be a cover of taeyang's - eyes,nose,lips. he started gaining attention, and by the end of the month he managed to grab up 200 subcribers. by the end of the year 12, hyunjin had 100k subcribers. it was overwhelming, but for sure hyunjin was damn excited. once he graduated he continued uploading at least a video every day. he just loved playing the guitar.
when he's not uploading videos or working on new videos. hyunjin likes to lay around and play videogames with yugyeom or with online strangers. i know it's not good playing with online strangers but hyunjin can't play by himself can he? hyunjin tries to balance his college life and youtuber life and it's going pretty damn well.
