the evolution of my posters 2011 to 2018

2011

I always liked making posters when I started here on AFF. I was a newbie in photoshop.

 

2012

I was trying different styles. Experimented with monochrome and then a colorful poster.

 

2013

I tried using different fonts in this year. Also downloaded a bunch of brushes. I think I updated my adobe photoshop around this time.

  

2014

I was very inactive by 2014 so I only have one poster and it hahaha.

2015 ~ 2017 : inactive period

2018 THE COMEBACK

 

When I look back at how I did my posters and look at how I make them now... I'm at a loss for words. 
I never thought that I could improve. I always admired the graphics artists here at AFF and always beat myself up for not making just as good posters... 
But thanks to some graphics artists, I learned new tricks and experimented more.

There will always be room for improvement, I think!

I'm smitten with your 2018 posters. 💜 The last three are so cute (I like the modern look of the first one as well); I wish I had your graphics skills! (Teach me, senpai >.<)

We can definitely see the difference in poster-making from before 2015 & after 2017. :D Before 2015, all the posters were a bit simpler with not too much plays on colours. However, after 2017, there are more aesthetics put into the covers and the typography has obviously changed (in style). X’DDD

It’s really amazing to see your improvement. :O I actually can’t believe that you went on a 3 years hiatus and yet came back with such beautiful posters! It’s amazing! :DDD
